★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Jerk Chicken Coco-Bun served here is absolutely fantastic. Hands down my favorite item on the menu, I cannot describe how perfect the bun itself is... Pillowy soft but still totally able to support the sauciness of the jerk chicken thigh (which is moist, tender, and full of flavor). Every piece of this sandwich is made by hand ON THE TRUCK! The Roti are also truck-made and surprisingly delicious for such a simple flatbread. I also recently had the Jerk Poutine for the first time (not generally a Poutine enthusiast...)-- curds and hand cut Kennebec fries with a vegetarian (vegan even) gravy with a complex flavor profile I had assumed I would not enjoy (tried it at the chef's insistence). I liked it a lot.
Their location behind the museum is largely "out of sight; out of mind" for most locals, it would seem. Which is silly, because it is a sunsoaked seating area with a licensed beverage kiosk AND YOUR DOG CAN SIT WITH YOU!!
What more could you ask for??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had the Tobago wrap - fantastic - savory curried chicken. Definitely have it with their hot sauce, which is house made red pepper, pineapple, and habenero! Nice heat but not only heat - tons of flavor too! Rolling reef please come to Edmonton!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food Courtyard outside is great! Ate a Tobago Wrap at The Rolling Reef - curried chicken with lots if lettuce and veg in a great-tasting flour wrap. Excellent homemade hot sauce on the side. My tween and I agreed it is one if the best wraps we have EVER had!
