★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm typically not the biggest fan of butter tarts. But the reviewers of this place encouraged me to visit the Queen's Tarts. I'm very glad I did. Great butter tarts, with so much choice! Very good latte and the coffee was excellent. I would recommend. The patio is quite nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a late lunch here -- quiche special plus a side salad. The quiche was very good and the simple salad was excellent. All the salad ingredients were very fresh and crisp. Topped it off with a perfect raisin butter tart. Excellent value lunch. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice bakery on Main Street Sault Saint Marie downtown. Simple and cozy decor. As the name says it, they specialize in butter tarts. They also serve other baked goods, like individual sized quiche, which are very good. The homemade pies are fresh and outstanding. They serve coffee and other drinks. There are tables inside the establishment to seat and enjoy your treats. Prices are good. It is a family business, where you find the husband and wife working together with their children helping. Nicest people!!!

Go get yourself some of these tarts with whatever coffee drink you enjoy, totally won't regret it!
They're still open for take out so go check em out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Queens Tart is still bistro royalty and after years of visiting they still impress with quality. They don't skimp on ingredients and make almost everything in house. At the start their savory food was not quite up to par with their coffee. These days however it is becoming more and more unique and delicious.
They managed to covert me to the widely polarizing pumpkin spice. They make their syrup in house that captures the earthly complexity of the autumn favorite. The one note sweetness is not found here. Paired with their hand roasted house blend espresso I can't think of a better pairing on a cooler Saturday. Drop in and give it a try and become on convert.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must stop here spot! Butter tarts - who knew there could be such a large variety! These are very well made and for those who are new to butter tarts - they are indeed pretty sweet. The flakey crusts matches so well to the flavour and sweetness of the content. It is also a heavy content to flakey crust ratio, which I appreciate. There is a flavour for everyone or just the regular ones when you just can't decide. Can't go wrong with any.
