★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love that we have a toy store locally. I dropped in to find a textured ball for my little one - or some sort of ball. The selection of baby toys was sort of random and very lacking. They have a great Playmobil selection, which will keep us coming back. The lady we most often encounter seems lacking in customer service skills, and I'd guess that's where she'd have the best chance of building a strong loyal customer base. She rarely looks up from her computer, making it feel like you're sort of intruding...And then asking for help makes you feel like you're interrupting. She'll give you a forced smile and tell you where the item is, but no further conversation or ideas. If she doesn't have it, you're not likely to get other ideas from her, she's back on the computer or the phone. She's also not friendly with kids. If I worked at a toy store, I'd probably be sick of kids too...But when they have a positive experience, they're more likely to want to come back. And this isn't biased...I was there alone and noticed she made absolutely zero effort to engage the 2 kids who were playing with the toys (the tester toys put out for playing with). I am not keen on annoying pushy salespeople and I'm happy to be left alone to shop...But the feeling like she is bored out of her tree, and that you're interrupting her, kind of puts a downer on the the 'fun' toy store experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this store!! We have been shopping here for 9yrs and the owner always remembers us (which is pretty amazing considering how many children they must meet). We go out of our way to make sure we support this small business as they never disappoint, they have a nice thought out selection of toys for all ages. Great store. Fantastic Staff. Highly recommend stopping in.
