It was a reenergizing space with lots of communal areas for us to be productive and have fun. Adam is a fantastic host and everything ran smoothly.

It’s beautiful, super clean and so many things to do. It was unreal and the interior design and details are stunning. Not to mention the amazing host, Adam! Thanks again for having us and we can’t wait to come back!

The way the space is redesigned strikes a great balance between supplying modern conveniences without losing the old charm of the 140 year old building. The two loft bedrooms are luxurious. While the additional two bedrooms in the extension supply a quieter place. So many great places to congregate with friends while relaxing or cooking. Thoughtful, personal touches abound. The owner clearly cares about the space and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure all needs are met during your stay. Highly recommended!!!!

I chose the venue as I like historically interesting places to stay and this certainly was a neat space to spend time in. Family loved it and they were also excited by the uniqueness of the property. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds were...just as amazing as the 5* hotels! We visited during the winter so the fireplace was lovely after doing a winter hike.

What stood out to me most is how grateful I am that people like Adam are willing to open up his home to others - what an amazing experience to stay here! A very large family would have tons of space. The two of us felt like we were on vacation just by sitting in the grand room. The water levels were low so we didn't get to kayak but we did make good use of the bikes...I highly recommend you enjoy them! We had one brief issue but Adam was so on-the-ball that it was resolved within minutes. A tremendous host and home -- can't say enough good things!

I loved the charming decor, the cute pond that is great for canoeing, the fire pit to star gaze, and the spacious calming rooms. It was clean, and Adam is a great host. Definitely worth staying at the Church and making it a fun time with family and friends. Thanks again for a great experience!

The decoration, the layout, the flow of living, and the balance between preserving existing features of the church and elevating the experience to modern standards were all masterfully done. The place was clean and the option to easily separate the two main spaces came in handy when some of our group wanted to rest or have privacy, while the others wanted to listen to music and play board games. Having plenty of wineries within a 15-30 min radius, access to delicious takeout options nearby, the option to cook some meals in the fully equipped kitchen had us covered for the weekend. It was also unreal to be able to switch between lounging casually by the fireplace with a cup of tea and a dressy formal candlelit dinner - with ease, and all in one space. If you’re looking for an escape from your day-to-day, this surreal and expertly designed place is sure to over-deliver. Thanks again for having us!

Love the decor, the attention to detail, the comfortable beds and the overall authentic feel of the place. We will definitely be staying here again. The grounds were a plus as well.. being able to walk and sit near the water was very relaxing. 10 out of 10 for sure!
