Great local history museum, visiting Glanmore is a great way to spend part of an afternoon. And the house is currently dressed up for Christmas, bringing a bit more magic to the experience.

A great local history home. Well preserved and the staff working were knowledgeable and fun. Covid restrictions in place had no effect on the tour. Fantastic!

This was a pleasant surprise. We had some time to kill and decided to check out this mansion. The furniture is pretty much as impressive as the house. The ceilings in some of the rooms, and the staircase, are amazing. The stories about the family were interesting, as well as the exhibit on the maids that lived and worked there. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Astounding! What a display of early 20th century opulence and luxury. The building is very well maintained, presents well , is free to enter and staffed by knowledgeable and helpful folks. Worth a visit !

Fun experience! Super interesting if you're into history and the little plaques give a lot of context. Bring a sweater because it's a little chilly. Staff are all very helpful.

The Glanmore House is a must see if you're at all interested in history, especially local history. It's really interesting to see how people in the past lived. There are period clothes, furniture, musical instruments, etc. as well as a lot of information. Periodically they have special displays (this month was about tattoos).

An excellent example of Victorian architecture and beautiful interiors. What really makes this a special place are the staff that run it and their incredible knowledge! Brilliant!
