★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here for thanksgiving. Was cold in the night, as the cottages are not insulated, but pleasant stay nonetheless. The rooms are simple and clean, the view is gorgeous. They had a canoe and paddle boat for rent, as well as a portable fire bowl for your private campfire. Their two outdoor cats will jump up in your lap if you're sitting outside. Owners were friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great rustic cottages. We've been there a number of times. They're well maintained and a great escape from the everyday. The water's clear. The fishing's (can be) good. And there's a great nearby (boat access) jumping cliff.

Rooms were clean and beautifully kept, hosts were great and extremely pleasant.
Right next to the lake so it was easy to move back and forth.
Will 100% definitely visit again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The perfect place to just unwind ! Steve and Deb are the perfect hosts . Our cottage was #7 right on the water with amazing views . Beds were comfortable and the cottage was excellent with all the amenities you could think of , no TV which was a blessing ! Great fishing right off the dock in front of the cottage , can't say enough about how enjoyable our stay was . Definately return and recommend to couples and families .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a large group with 8 kids and 8 adults and were comfortably able to stay in the main cottage. The cottage was clean, very well maintained and it was a great place to relax after spending the day in the water. The kids have been to Cuba, Jamaica and the Dominican but after staying at the Oaks Cottage they want to come back here every year instead. They enjoyed being able to sleep together on the third floor that has 4 beds perfect for kids. Overall we all had a great time and I would recommend The Oaks Cottages to anyone. Thanks for being a great host Steve.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our bed was small and uncomfortable, but we are told they are being up graded. The dining area is tight for the size of group we are (10 people). But the 2 living spaces are very lovely and very comfortable and the location is really nice. It would be awesome during the warm seasons when the lake is open. We would consider coming back with an even larger group of people when the small cottages are also open.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to visit family who had rented a cottage there. The place is clean and well maintained. The water is clear and great for swimming there is a small section that is perfectly shallow for any young ones to enjoy and it does get deep for that avid swimmer. The owners are very friendly. There is lots to do and see! I would totally recommend the place for both families and the couple that just simply wants to relax and fish.
One thing to note the cottages don't have a/c so it becomes extremely hot, or bring some fans.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All was great. Very hospitable. Nice and clean.our shower had a hole in it, so had to shower in a different cottage. Our dock for the boat was not in the water, had to dock at government dock. 3 min walk not far.
