I started with the online-only membership, and there are tons of resources made available by owner Colleen to help you succeed in your handmade business with The Nooks. It's very easy to pay for my membership, and I never had any issues receiving my payouts from my sales.
Any time I have technical issues or questions, they are answered quickly and professionally.
Since then I've joined the retail store in Port Hope and it was such an amazing decision. The staff there is wonderful, and Colleen has a 1 on 1 phone conversation with every new/potential vendor to get to know them and their business.
There are resources available to help on the retail end, and tons of added programs to uplevel your Nooks business.
This is my first ever retail experience and I am so happy I chose to go with The Nooks.

Cashless means fully digital, fully traceable, fully bank controlled over every cent you own.
A CASHLESS SOCIETY MEANS:
• No more tuck-away cash for those preparing to leave domestic violence.
No more cash donations to the hungry or homeless.
• No more cash slipped into the hands of a child from their grandparent.
. No more money in birthday cards.
. No more piggy banks or tooth fairy.
• No more yard sales or selling bits from your home that you no longer want/need.
No more playing games that use coins, like Rummoli.
No more flip-a-coin for heads/tails.
No more tangible money to hold to teach the value of $ or simple math.
• Fewer choices of where you purchase based on affordability.
We must think hard about the future, before supporting this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing but sunshine on a cloudy day is how I would describe the staff at the port hope nooks store. Every time I go in they are so bright and bubbly and make me feel so welcome. It’s one of my favourite places to stop when I’m downtown Port Hope! So many beautiful pieces to be found. Big shout out to the staff for all your hard work you’re so lucky to work in such a beautiful place!
