★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have visited this store several times. The first time was shortly after it opened to pick up some eccles cakes for a British friend who was unable to get there herself. I love oatcakes and along with them I've discovered all sorts of food items I am unable to get anywhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As the son of a true welshman..this is your store for all things british... sausage rolls ..blood pudding.. potato bread. And the large bread...store stuff is also super friendly. Xmas breakfast isnt the same without nessies

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love all the british foods and was on vacation this week in cobourg ontario. My wife and i went for a town walk and i was so excited to see this store was open. I love ginger snap cookies so we went in wearing masks and following rules of course. Great store and items and i found my cookies, pricey at 4.00 but worth it by all means.we approached cash and lady was very dry and not very friendly .we said thankyou and have a a great day being polite and respectful. As we get to door i said it again then finally i hear after second time of saying goodbye enjoy your day and thankyou i hear softly from her " you too " !!!! Not friendly at all and wont be back. I realize its a pandemic and people are totally depressed etc but if you cant be polite to the few customers that are supporting your business then close!!!!!
Sorry but im out in public to support small businesses to help them out and it wouldnt hurt to be half descent to people!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A charming wee stop in Cobourg. Potato farls /potato bread is available here for all my fellow Northern Irish folk. Great selection of British chocolates and the staff are lovely
