I visited the Nook with my husband for lunch recently. It was so lovely & warm with tons of vegetarian & vegan options. The staff were extremely kind and we can't wait to visit again to try more items, and to contribute more to their button program.

Great new cafe in Edmonton. Lattes are some of my favourite in the city and all their baked goods are made in-house. Special shout out for their cinnamon buns which are delicious and fortunately come in both small and large sizes.

What a gem of a establishment... such a lovely cafe with great coffee products (I had their amazing latte) and a grilled cheese that was second to none for sure. With such warm and delightful staff in a warm and relaxed atmosphere definitely one to come back to again and again .

Nice cosy cafe on the corner. Outdoor area plus plenty of seating inside - some snacks to choose on display plus a small menu of prepared food. Good prices, friendly staff and comfortable environment

A beautiful cafe in the heart of The Quarters in East Downtown. The incredibly kind and friendly service makes way for comforting food and beverages (the sticky cinnamon buns and varieties of grilled cheese sandwiches are especially delicious!) the environment is cozy and easy going. Conversations, even when boisterous, have that same calmness that the environment itself radiates. The Nook is a beautiful place and I’ll keep returning to its cozy corners.

I usually come on my coffee break to grab a hot chocolate. I love the atmosphere and eclectic furniture and beautiful art. The staff are always friendly and the tall guy with glasses knows my order of by heart when he sees me!! I avoid coming here for lunch because even though the food is good, it's a hoppin place and the lunch crowd always gets here before l do! I also love the Suspended Coffee concept, which is this program where customers can buy a coffee token and leave it in a jar for someone who can't afford a coffee and they can take one and exchange it for the coffee. This gives someone the chance to "buy" a coffee and maintain dignity. I hope more businesses start doing this. The only real negative for me is that the cafe is so close to where I work, I constantly have cravings to go over and grab something!

The Nook is a nice cafe, I know it sounds almost cliche but it’s nice. It didn’t wow me but it was good, I liked the cinnamon bun with brown sugar cream cheese icing. So I gave the cafe a 4 star because I think it is a little better than most. Service was friendly and courteous and there is a good selection of pastries and breakfast and lunch options. The cafe is clean and well lit. Washrooms are clean. It’s location is in the Quarters area in the old downtown farmers market building. It’s renovated and eclectic looking. I will come back sometime.

Visited for the first time this cafe earlier today for a business meeting. Cafe was nice, simple and clean. Very hipster oriented demographic over here which is great for the area as well for a casual meeting. Was recommended to try the cinnamon bun. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Only reason I am giving three stars is because nothing really stood out to me in terms of being a better cafe, compared to all the others near by. Also they don’t have any honey put out in the front for the patrons to use and put in their hot beverages etc. Overall the place is well maintained and the products they have to offer are good.
