★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over the TOP Chia Oat Mountain Fog! Wow. Like the best. And also give their Carrot Muffins a taste. Incredible! Didn't sit in but the atmosphere was cozy and I wished I could have stayed. 8/5 rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New coffee shop just North of Creston, BC. Decent coffee and tasty donuts and cinnamon buns. The only donuts they have are plain glazed raised donuts. The cinnamon buns have caramel which is a nice touch. They do sell bread as well but it’s fairly pricey.
The setting is like a barn (hence the name) but it is cozy and clean with ample parking. A nice option if you’re heading North to the ferry to grab a coffee and donut for the drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my family to The Mountain Barn for coffee. They were visiting from the Coast and when they walked into the building they were instantly impressed with the rustic décor and the "yummy" smells wafting throughout the place. Several of us had the delicious Hot Cider while others opted for the fresh coffee. All of us munched on the fantastic donuts although they were pricey, many in our party exclaimed that they rivaled those of the "Crispy Cream" donuts. At least here you did not have to line up around the building to get one. The drive through was a big help. Would most definitely come back here again and again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This friendly restaurant bakery has the best biscuits and gravy, and the best cinnamon buns, we have ever eaten. And we’ve eaten a lot of both! The coffee is also very good and the prices are bargains. And as a fillip: screamingly far Wi-Fi! Would prefer metal forks over plastic ware but not going to kvetch. This is the real deal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressively filling sandwhich, perfectly crafted on delightfully light bread. Love that you can just go in and order "sandwhich". Bathroom is comfortable and clean. Feels like the sink water is trickling down directly from the mountains. The drink selection is also excellent. Taxidermy selection for sale at reasonable prices too.
