★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at the Urban Retreat Hostel in the same building as The Moguls condominiums (March 2017). Checked in, asked about parking, my license plate was registered at the desk and I was directed to the outdoor parking lot. The guy who checked me in was new so he forgot to mention the parking pass. A small oversight on his part turned into a HUGE ordeal for me.
Unknown to me and due to poor signage, not having a parking pass on my car resulted in it being towed, as directed by the management of The Moguls, TO KELOWNA!!! There was no effort at all to verify that I was a guest at the hostel. Half a day later and $500 in personal expense, I returned with my car to Big White.
I contacted the board of directors at The Moguls and their reply was essentially "Too bad." I considered filing a small claims lawsuit, but my personal time and effort would not be justified. So, I'll convey my feelings in this review.
I'm a little bit upset with the hostel for the oversight,, but I forgive them as it was an honest oversight. As far as the Board, Management Company and On-Site Manager at The Moguls., F**K them. I hope they get all the karma they deserve.
One star given because zero is not an option.
