This place was a savior for me once, I wasn't at my best and I was very ashamed of my position so I needed a place where peopel wouldn't juge me and where compréhension, respect and confidentiality would be of essence. Well, I found all of the above right here no need to go further, I was greated in such a friendly and loving way, everyone was so nice to me and my family. They even treated us with some chocolat and ice cream for the kids to. We came out of there with 3 or 4 boxes full of food and there was everything I needed for the house to. I'm so great full for all the help me and my family got from La Manne de l'île, It's really the place to go to if ur in need of help. Thanks again to all the hard working staff over there!

I am so happy and so thankful that in these period of difficulties during covid 19,you are there to help. I was lay-off from my job and not eligible for cerb and ei, and without a car, you helped me in a very extraordinary way. The box of foods was given in front of my door and with a good quality. It is such an amazing way of kindness. I will always be grateful and will always remember it. I hope i can help other people too one day. Keep it up and you will be blessed. Thank you very much.

I called for a food box last week on Monday they said Tuesday we will bring the food box and that they would call. I waited all afternoon to finally get ahold of them the following friday. And said we had one delivery and that noone wrote down the info. Then they told me Monday between 12 & 1600h and they will call before the come we shall see. I have been trying to call to make sure they are coming. And I get no answer

This place is saving my budget at the moment. With my work hours cut in half, and as a student, I can survive by eating one free meal at work per shift, and with food from this food bank. So thankful for Manna of the Island, truly a blessing. Honestly not sure how I would manage otherwise...

Quality of food and service varies greatly sometimes they are rude other times nice and helpful. Often expired items been turned away in the middle of winter pregnant. Very mixed feelings sometimes it's great but not very often
