★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best fries in Ottawa. If I'm wrong, please tell me so I can have fries that are even more incredible than these... something which I honestly can't imagine would even be possible. Great friendly service. Cash only, so plan accordingly; It's worth it. Poutine is great too. Haven't tried any burgers, etc., but no doubt quite tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Majic Fryer has been a favourite of our family for years. Unfortunately, today, was the worst experience we had. Half my container of poutine at the bottom were all burnt fries. They have also changed from using curd cheese to mozzarella cheese (maybe 5 small pieces in a medium poutine). Hopefully, the Majic Fryer will correct this. This is truly disappointing after eating from there for years without any issues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located in the parking lot at Canadian Tire in Coventry - The Magic Fryer fries were delicious. A little thicker than most chip truck fries but so delicious. Cooked perfectly - crisp on the outside with a soft and hot center.
Small Poutine had real cheese curds covered with a thick and tasty gravy.
Nice guys running the truck - wearing masks too!
This is a CASH ONLY fry truck. But, if it’s open definitely a worth a stop for some hot chips!
