★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was my birthday dinner. Julie was our server. We got a 3 course meal with paired tasting. She was not only an extraordinary server but her knowledge on wine was beyond impressive and the way she explained everything kept us interested and excited for what was to come. The food was amazing and we are so happy we chose to come here! Thanks Julie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good friend and myself were craving some
charcuterie boards, we took at peek at the menu
online and saw they had them. Our server was
amazing and very accommodating, I don't
remember her name (she worked there last
summer and this was her first summer serving)
she was kind and very talkative which we enjoyed,
she sold us on the cheese board as well as the
charcuterie board that we came for. Thank you to
the kitchen team for making them for us, and to
Issac for giving us a wave and a thumbs up
making sure we enjoyed it, they were in fact
delicious. We also asked for a bartenders choice
for a cocktail as we couldn't decide. Dylan the
bartender, created two lovely cocktails for us, each
with different and unique flavours, we enjoyed the
creativity he had, he seemed very knowledgeable
in cocktail creation! He even took the time to
come over and ask us how they were and for
feedback. Great service at gray monk!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our server was very good -however we Reserved a table for 2 (a week before)for an anniversary- sat us inside on a beautiful sunny day with sliding patio doors partially open- halfway thru they opened them- patio edged seats were poorly booked and sat empty for most of our dinner. menu had very limited GF items. Selection for dinner is very limited to begin with. To be honest we didn’t book for the food we booked for the Incredible patio view which we did not receive. We ordered a cheese platter to share and two risottos and left hungry- we also ordered two baileys coffees and were charged for two slap shot coffees which came in at $14 each . Underwhelming dinner experience for a special occasion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a celebration of life for my grandma recently on the May long weekend. Sherry, Lauren and the rest of the staff were just amazing. Down to the glasses of champage in order to toast my grandma to the blankets to keep my aunts warm. The food was amazing and the views were great. It all came down to all the little details the staff did to make this moment special for my family and I.
Thank you again, my grandma would've loved this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and service was absolutely great. Our server Brooke did a fantastic job and made our group feel happy and content. The drinks by the bartender Dylan were just amazing the service was fast and very tasty. It was a 5/5 experience for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cut above the rest. We came here for a celebration meal and were not disappointed. The lobster rolls had plenty of meat inside, bacon on the burger was crispy nd fresh, the thin-sliced house-made potato chips are perfect on the side, and even the kids' grilled cheese sandwich was made with artisan bread and good cheese. All with a beatiful backfrop off a fantastic patio.
For a winery restaurant, the wine list had quite a few wines from other cellars. Gray Monk deserves to celebrate its own wines a little more than this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is incredible. I had the Bavette and for dessert "The Pour Over" - the steak was cooked exactly to my liking and the dessert's presentation was incredible. For appetizers we had the chips and dip, the dip was so good! We had sat on the patio however due to the heat it was still extremely hot since Gray Monk still hadn't added the sprinklers for cooling. So we then moved indoors. Overall I would for sure return when in Lake Country again. Our waitress as well was lovely.
