About The Lone Pine Inn
Mike and Kay Szyszka built the hotel from the ground up (as well as most of the furnishings) and chose the perfect location for guests. Here at the Lone Pine Inn, guests have the opportunity to truly have an experience that is “Better Than The Rest”. Guests can enjoy more than a good night's sleep. They can also take in all of the amenities that only a lakeside hotel can offer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This motel was a very lovely surprise on my road trip this summer. I booked here because they were pet friendly. It was such a nice surprise to be so close to the lake and have a room with a view of the lake. My dog and I sure enjoyed our visit. The rooms have been recently renovated and very lovely. The owners are fantastic and treat everyone like family. When ever I make this trip again I will make sure to stop here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most welcoming bnbs I’ve stayed in Canada with a truly homey feel and a beautiful view to wake to over the lake, or to watch the sun set over or on which the moon to glisten. A very comfortable and pet room, with a lovely eco feel to business evident on arrival, and very fairly priced. 10/10 from a weary traveller driving across the country

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is beautiful, peaceful, and we'll maintained. We were driving home from Calgary to Mississauga and one of our hotel stays was this place and I'm so happy it was. The owners clearly love this place and take care of it. Like others say every view is of the lake and it's so relaxing. Beds are comfy and the decor is spot on for the location. Loved every peaceful minute of it.if you have a chance, don't stay at one of the bigger hotels, go here. You won't regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called to inquire about a pet friendly room. They assured me they had one. Website says they are open until 10pm.
Drive down some very rough back streets to arrive. When I showed up at 9, they were closed, and no longer answering their phones, or knocks on the door. Another motel in the area let me know they were closing at 830, that's why we decided to go here.
I had to drive my family back an hour on our trip to find accommodations. Kinda glad it didn't work out, the place looked sketchy from the parking lot.
Would not recommend.
Edit to respond: your hours are 8am to 10pm 7 days a week, no? Even if I had not called ahead, would you have been open, and able to interact with me? Showing up to a locked door in the dark of night was quite the kick in the teeth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed there one night with my mother (May 12). Beautiful and quiet place, with an amazing view on the lake. The room was very clean and comfortable, with lots of pratical things (dish towel, kettle, some kitchenware, etc). We also appreciated that the place is clearly ecofriendly. And the owners were very kind and friendly! Also, the fresh homemade banana bread offered in the morning was delicious! I would definitively stay there again if the occasion arise.
