Came for brunch, it was good! Eggs were perfectly done (sunny side) and the toast was spectacular, potatoes were a little salty for my liking. Server was very helpful. My only complaint was that they didn’t have turkey bacon. Oh well, next time!

I REALLY wanted to like this place, but last visit has got me turned off. My First visit was over mothers day brunch. we had a reservation for first thing in the morning, HOWEVER we didn't actually get to eat until 30 min in cause they didn't even have all the food out so they made us wait. and we only got an hour to eat. oh and they never had the crepe table open till right when we left. I thought I would give them another try so: 2nd visit : visited on Sunday around noon for the brunch buffet. (figuring it would be a better time to get food) WRONG. most of the buffet was empty and the stuff that was left was cold and hard. never got any refills on drinks either. It was a $50 bill for me and my 8yr old daughter who barely ate anything since everything she liked was out. I guess its time to try a different place. anyone have any recommendations?

I went there several years ago. I remembered it being a place I wanted to take my wife to. While in the area I got worried if it was as good as I thought it was. Into the deli and asked if they were still seating at 15 before close. Up the stairs we went. The staff were busy preparing the place for Sunday breakfast but they dropped everything and started to look after us. Most places we would have felt like a burden, not here! Yes we were looked after so they could get on with setup, but wow the food was better then I remembered. Staff were busy with cleaning and prepping but still each of the three stopped a few minutes to ensure we were happy with the food and then pleasantly chat about whatever. I felt they were happy we dropped by. Food... Montreal smoked meat was really smoked and spices were flavourful. French Fries were close to perfect, side gravy was real scratch! Loft club was not a classic club, it was in bun with real chunk of ham turkey and bacon. Team bacon likes the bacon... Worth the 3.5 hour drive up from Calgary. My wife wants to go again. Good eating.

Delicious, fresh and big portions, just like eating in your grandma's house, even with that type of cosy place and kind service. I really recommend the place, the prices are a little bit high, but is completely worth it. The store sell also really good products.

The loft is one of my favorite breakfast joints. The food here has never been disappointing at anytime I go here. My suggestion would be to try the eggs Benedict's. I did go here once and it did take 35mins to get my food and the pancakes were not cooked, I suggest don't get those, other than that it's a great place to go eat usually. The bacon is best around. I will always go here for breaky in Spruce Grove. I sometimes drive from downtown Edmonton to spruce just to eat breaky here. I go here pretty much every weekend with my friends and family. Hope you enjoy eating here!

Sadly this place has gone down hill. I have been coming here for 2 years and it's steadily going down hill. The portions have gotten smaller and the little things have been taken out. For example. I ordered the blueberry pierogies and they used to come with melted butter. They dont any more, so I asked the waiter for some melted butter. I got melted grill shavings. I sadly have decided this will be my last breakfast here. Sadly it will be missed, but it's no longer the establishment it used to be.

Quirky local gem. Upstairs restaurant at a local butcher and deli. Loved the menu. Reasonable prices, good portions. Everything is fresh and local, service crisp and efficient. Montreal Smoked Meat was good but dryish. Fries overcooked on both meals.

Great place for brunch I've been coming to for many years. Been good but recently feels like quality and portions aren't as big as they used to be. Omelettes are phenomenal and a must try! There is brunch buffet on Sundays with a large selection, including build your own crepes. The thick cut bacon is phenomenal, but the egg Benedict's are always over cooked with almost no Hollandaise. Service is hit or miss, depending on who you get. Can get quite busy and wait times get long during peak hours. The store downstairs has some great stuff to take home too especially their cured meats.
