M	Moira Walton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yelena and all the staff have been a god send for our family. Our daughter was the first child on their list, and has been with them from day one. Yelena has always been incredibly flexible with our work schedules and child care needs, as well as with our daughter’s adjustment to being in daycare day to day. We have received daily communication from the staff in the form of: texts, messages through their private app, phone calls. This has included prompt notification of any typical toddler incidents that have occurred, with our little daredevil. Everyone has done such a fantastic job and making our family, and most importantly our daughter, feel warmly welcomed and safe in their care. As an OT, I also very much appreciate the range of activities and toys that are present. This has included fine motor, gross motor, sensory play, free and structured play, nature exploration, arts and crafts, etc. The thought put into the daily routine and activities chosen is meticulous and encompasses so many vital developmental skills. Thank you so much, to everyone at The Learning Journey!

Staff are so professional, caring, approachable, organized, and fun! Our son is thriving and he is so excited to see his friends and caregivers every week. The center is clean, spacious and a great location for us. They have a great routine with lots of free play, activities, circle time, quiet time and lots of outdoor play. We feel so at ease when we drop him off for the day knowing that he is so well cared for!

I love that they get lots of time outdoors and for free play. The facility is clean and they regularly rotate toys to keep things interesting. My son (3) is loving playing with all of his friends, doing songs and circle time, sensory learning, and creative and imaginative play! The staff has been wonderful at accommodating my daughters allergies and have even asked for extra training with their first aid certification. I would for sure recommend it to a friend!

They truly show care and concern for his wellbeing. He had a lot of separation anxiety at first. With the genuine love and care that the staff showed toward him, he was able to overcome the anxiety. He even counts down to Mondays! The staff has been instrumental in working with our son during potty training. The staff are professional and truly care about the children. They prepare daily planned activities which are very well thought-out and continually challenge the children. They encourage outdoor playing and field trips to the local forested areas to explore nature. The children spend time working on fine motor skills, arts and crafts. In our opinion, the owners have carefully selected great educators for their facility. There is consistent communication between the owners, educators and parents through emails, in person at pick-up and drop-off, and through the private app. Daily pictures, updates and reminders are definitely great to keep us involved and aware of what our son is experiencing and learning every day. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found The Learning Journey, and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or family.

Yelena and her team are warm, genuine and highly qualified individuals who have a true passion for childcare. The incredible team is very attentive to each child and their individual needs, yet they encourage independence and provide opportunities for growth. My husband and I have noticed significant growth in our daughter's social development, motor skills and overall milestones this past year. We are so grateful to be part of our daycare family. As a certified teacher in BC, and a first time mom, I wholeheartedly recommend The Learning Journey.

As a parents it was nerve-racking to start my child in daycare for the very first time but since day one teachers at the Learning Journey have made my child's experience so wonderful. Teachers are very kind and supportive. They love children and are there to guide and support them in a kind and loving way. Teachers involve children in various activities every single day. Kids do crafts, they play outside, they dance. They are just happy to be there. As a parent I have been so pleased with my experience and would recommend the Learning Journey to any parent.

The staff really helped with the transition to daycare with our son for his (and our) first daycare experience. They are friendly and professional. There is no shortage of new fun and developmental activities for children in the infant room. My son thrived at this centre and learned so much in his time there. An out of province move is the only reason we left the daycare, otherwise we would have happily stayed there for much longer than one year.

The staff in the infant room were so kind and truly care for all the children. When my daughter was having a hard time starting in daycare for the first time the staff were so accommodating and flexible, they wanted to do whatever they could to make it easier on my daughter. The owner is great, she called me and discussed options on how to make it the best experience for my child. The infant care staff have great communication with parents. The center is very clean, organized and has a safe outdoor space. I highly recommend this center and the infant care staff!
