★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful little chateau; feels like you are walking into another world when you walk in there. Friendly staff, healthy breakfast choices and a total different experience from staying in the chain hotels for similar prices. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Lots of thought and detail went into everything here.

They don't offer breakfast but there is a self help "kitchen " open 24 hours with fruit, cereal and milk, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, instant quaker oats, snack bars, orange juice and fresh coffee. One thing lacking is the presence of bread and toaster and muffins. It would be nice to be able to have some toast and jam or say a bran muffin with your coffee.

Sue at the front desk is a gem.
The rooms are tidy and well decorated.
The den on the first floor has a cozy fireplace and lots of comfy chairs to chat with other visitors till the wee hours of the morning.
If I need a hotel in Kimberly, The Larix will be my first choice.
Fantastic hotel, and decently priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love this cozy boutique hotel! If you are in the area you must stay in this hotel!! The rooms are cozy, but the best party are the relaxing common areas. We. Enjoyed our morning coffee relaxing in front of the fireplace in one common are that felt like a cozy living room! Or relax on the leather couches near the entrance to the hotel or any other ticked away cozy areas. Morning breakfast was simple but all we needed and the coffee machine made the perfect expresso, latte, cappuccino or whatever else you wanted. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Sue, who was just a genuine and kind woman who took pride in this beautiful hotel and wanted our stay to be perfect. We can’t wait to get back and stay here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Larix was beyond incredible. It is a newer boutique hotel and they are going above and beyond to create a unique experience for their guests. Breakfast was a lovely touch and self serve. The decor and styling of the hotel are so beautiful. The staff is SO friendly and helpful! We miss them already! The beds were so comfortable and the location couldn't be better for walking. We will 100% be back and we cannot wait! We couldn't recommend the Larix anymore!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cute little hotel! The sitting room downstairs is incredibly cozy and welcoming. Its warm and smells great inside the hotel. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean. We asked for a mini fridge and had it brought straight to our room. Walking distance to everything, parking is easy too. Some baked goods/cereal options available for breakfast makes getting going in the morning easy!
