We had the best time at The Lakeside Motel. The Perfect 10 has a beautiful view and is so cozy with the in room fireplace. The motel is a short walk to town and has the perfect setting on the lake. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a great time here. The room was nice. The area by the lake was great. They were very welcoming to our dog. The vegan burger was very good and came with plenty of fries.

Team work makes the dream work! A group of 6, in the bungalow, we were blown away by this place. It is WORTH every penny. Down to earth. Groovy vibes. Warm smiles. We heard there was newish employees and they were for sure, but man o man they want to learn, they want to be helpful. Way to go in finding a good team, treat them well. One thing, in the bungalow the rooms need full length mirrors. Thank you so much!!!! Xoxo Katie B

My friends and I booked four rooms at lakeside at the end of august for three days. Overall we had a good time. The rooms were tidy, the decor was lovely and the service was great. Having said this, there were a few things that took away from our stay. For example, we made reservations in advance to eat breakfast at Lakeside. We then found out that due to schedule changes they no longer served breakfast. We found this out on the morning of our actual breakfast reservation. This was especially frustrating considering there were no other restaurants open in town. The pool is offered as an amenity. However due to limited capacity and the fact that they offer day passes, we as the hotel guests we left in a situation where we couldn’t use the pool for an entire day. The day we were able to use the pool it opened two hours late. At many other resorts amenities are included. At lakeside the sauna, bikes, ice, firewood etc are all extra. These extra charges wouldn’t be so pronounced if the one amenity (the pool) was actually accessible to staying guests. Having opened in 2018, it does seem like they are still working out a few kinks.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Wharf House and it was wonderful. The place was super spacious and comfortable. We were 5 girls. The weather was really nice even though it was still April. They have a beautiful lakefront patio. Would love to come back in the summer!

We had such a lovely stay over Family Day weekend. The hospitality and service were wonderful; the property is very clean and you feel welcomed. It allowed us to bring our pup too! We enjoyed the quiet and the proximity to the rest of Main Street. We hope to be back one day in the summer! The view off the lake and the stars at night are simply marvellous!

We had a fantastic time at the Lakeside! So many pros and so few cons. Pros: - the rooms and entire facility are incredible clean and tidy. Love that they offer you fresh towels and linens every day if you want - the pool is FANTASTIC. We had some pretty poor weather but had an incredible couple days by the pool while the sun was out. They’re a little hardcore with the rules about not bringing any drinks to the pool area but not a huge deal - the views of the lake are Amazing. The lakside patio/deck is incredible - the staff are all fantastic. Incredibly welcoming and just super nice, we had some great chats with so many of them (shout out to the pool attendant can’t remember her name!) Knowledgeable about the whole facility (for the most part) and services they have Cons (very few) - the menu at the lakeside restaurant is super limited (oysters were fantastic however) - just small stuff like on day we asked for ice to turn a coffee into iced coffee and all that was offered was the ice in the bucket that was holding the milk for the morning coffee service All in all - incredible time, felt like such a quiet calm place to spend our week. Would definitely come back!

This is our second stay now and we had such a beautiful time. We love the attention to detail with the shower sets, the drip coffee, and the seats by the fireplace where we drank our wine from the wineries that day. What's extra special is that we can bring our dog who is obsessed with the lake and the trails here too. Thanks for the kindness. Can't wait to see this place in the summer. ❀️
