The Kinder Garden - Children's Centre for Excellence and Early Education

Our son has been going to The Kinder Garden day care centre for just over two years and he absolutely loves it!!!! The creativity and learning environment is beyond what we could have ever hoped for. The teachers and the owner are amazing with the children. We are so happy knowing that he is so well loved and cared for.

My son loves going to this daycare. The educators give him the attention he needs when he needs it. They always give him comfort when he is being dropped off and doesn’t want me to leave, as well as any comfort he needs during the day. The educators have a genuine interest in the kids and their work. The programs are properly geared to children’s ages and provides them with a wealth of skills. It’s great seeing my son’s eyes light up when I sing a song he learned in daycare. The facility itself is clean, organized, and provides great space for the kids’ activities. I get to read what my son is doing throughout the day which is calming. I am confident and at ease knowing my son is in good hands when I’m at work.

Our experience has been fantastic so far. My LO loves going everyday and loves the activities they do everyday. When we started potty training, the staff continued the progress we had made at home. Overall she has thrived since enrolling and couldn't be happier.

My daughter has been going to the Kinder Garden Center Since she was 18 months old (She is still there and turns 3 next week) We Absolutely love it there! Every day the children are learning new skills and having fun learning to care for and play with others. The staff they have are some of the nicest people i have ever come in contact with, my daughter has some anxiety issues and they always help her through it. The Director is always polite and accommodating to a child's individual needs and also follows all of the ministry needs and requirements. . I recommend this center to all my friends that have little's, I am beyond happy I sent my daughter here!!

Our little one has been attending since April and just loves it here! She has grown so much in her speech and social skills and always comes home singing and smiling:) The educators make her feel comfortable away from home and are always very attentive and hands on with the children. My school aged daughter also went to The Kinder Garden for preschool and I feel like the program really prepared her to begin school. She also just adored her educators! :) The facility is clean and the program is well organized. My kids are also very picky eaters and always seem to enjoy the healthy lunches??

I started working at the Kinder Garden 7 months ago and I love it. I feel like the management team is so supportive and encouraging. I truly appreciate my team mates and feel like they are my family. We have eachothers backs.The children and families that attend our program are some of the nicest most caring people I have ever met. I am truly blessed to work in such an amazing environment.

My little brother has been attending The Kinder Garden and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff and classrooms. The staff are caring, understanding and patient. The classrooms are warm and encouraging. I would definitely recommend this early education school to my friends and family!

This is the WORST child center I've ever put my son in. My son was there for only 1 week and his behavior changed drastically. You could tell he wasn't having fun or getting along with the children. My son then told me that the teacher hit him on his head and I spoke to the Director! At first she denied my right to investigate but then she reported it and an investigation was made on her staff. She wanted to question my 3 year old son without me being present! I ended up withdrawing my son because he always cried for me to go in there with him. I was unable to meet with any of the teachers, and directly after my complaint was made, I was denied the names of my sons 3 supervisors. The investigation didn't proceed simply because I denied their request to question my 3 year old son. They expected my 3 year old to remember the description of his teachers after 3 weeks from the incident.They wouldn't tell me if he had a good day or not. The reports were sounding too good to be true...saying my son slept when my son tells me he did not, saying he ate his lunch but when I look at the weekly menu, my son would usually be picky with their selections and my son would be extremely hungry at pickup. His appearance upon pick-up was highly disturbing; no gloves when it's cold weather, snot running down his face, unzipped jacket and his pants falling to the ground. This center is not right and not professional. To this day I haven't been able to meet with any of my sons supervisors to discuss the week he was enrolled. It's absolutely ridiculous. The staff have been there for 20+ years and clearly are burnt out. In their policy it states they use a "gentle tap" as a redirective strategy. Such bogus, because anyone can interpret what "gentle" means and this should make any parent uncomfortable because this type of technique shouldn't be allowed. My son has been traumatized from this experience. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone, they lack a sense of urgency, compassion and respect. Maybe it's because I am a young mother or because we are people of color but I definitely did not get the same experience the others got based on the other reviews.
