β β β β β Not happy with the experience I had there. I was insulted when I challenged Scott Kempt why he had lost the strap on my Boat's railing. He used profanities and asked me to leave the premises. I was overcharged for the work which was not completed on the first attempt. On the second attempt to do the work right, they had taken the strap on the Boat's railing and when I asked for it or to be compensated for it, he insulted me and asked me to leave. He then sent the Police down to my cottage which terrified my family. I would not recommend them as a professional outfit as they do not do a professional job, put the onus on the customer to fix their mess and insult the customer. Very unprofessional

β β β β β Very pleased with the service and workmanship of this establishment. We had to fix our pontoon boat as it had a leak in one of the pontoons and weren't sure where to bring it. Someone suggested the ironworker as it was close to our trailer so we brought it to them where they welded the hole shut and pressure checked in less than a hour. We were amazed and figured that we would have to leave it for a couple days. So off we went, happy with the workers, the price and great customer service from Scott and his wife. We had to since bring it back, but that was our doing as their was a second hole to repair but we knew just where to bring it. And while we were waiting to pick it up we had the best breakfast at a little restaurant called The Haven.

β β β β β It was fantastic working with Scott Rose and Scott Kemp, we obtained a quote for a new dock system for our cottage in Georgian Bay, we did everything by email and phone. They were competitively priced, responsive, professional, their installation team was excellent and overall they delivered a great product. Thanks to the entire Ironworker team for a great experience!

30 days to finish a 5 hour repair job (thatβs 5 hours of work in seven hundred and twenty hours! 720!). Caveat EMPTOR!! A good welder could have done the small patches in under two hours.
Furthermore β they only have ONE welder for aluminum and claim to produce aluminum boats. When the welder doesnβt show up all production HALTS!
They have guaranteed that they will not receive repeat business, especially when there are other skilled welders in the community.
Is the βno showβ welder trying to make up for lost time or is it simply dishonest business? No matter, they have gouged me for the first and last time, all at once.
Donβt support this knock off boat builder β take YOUR business elsewhere.
