★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boat broke down in front of Payne's Marine yesterday in full view of two staff members. While I stood helplessly in my boat with the cover off my motor cursing my situation, not a single employee walked over to inquire if I needed help. We finally called Sturgeon Bay Marine who showed up within 10 minutes and provided a free tow and repaired my motor at minimal cost. Shame on you Payne's for letting me down after coming to Pointe au Baril for forty years and giving you my business as I grew up. Your employees were not busy with other customers while watching us bang against the dock during a tough time for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing, beautiful, friendly, knowledgeable marina in probably one of the most beautiful areas of Georgian Bay and the Archipelago.
They have an awesome patio...the only one in the area actually. Can't wait to be on the water again and visit Payne and the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The fish and chips here are amazing! I normally don't like fish but this was done perfectly! The staff are also super friendly. They offered to carry all of our stuff to our boat and help us offload our boat also! We were the only boat around but they still went above and beyond the call of duty! Parking I believe was 15$ overnight.
