I came by to pick up a few tools and some lumber. There was absolutely no one on staff in the yard, even to check my order.
The pickings for lumber were pretty awful, too.

β β β β β Visited the Cranbrook store this afternoon. My husband and I are building a new home. We decided to shop for the kitchen, laundry room and bathroom cabinets today. We started by browsing the kitchen cabinet departments. We chose our favourite ones and proceeded to search for someone to help us with the order. I tracked down a young woman who asked another employee to take us to see a woman who was sitting at her desk. We started off by asking her what the approximate timeline would be for the order. She told us that it would depend on which ones we wanted. Some would take 13 weeks and some up to 15 weeks. I told her that we liked the Thomasville model. She replied that all of their kitchen cabinets were Thomasville. She didnβt appear to want to leave her desk and seemed quite disinterested in helping us. She never offered any help or asked us any questions. Needless to say, we decided to take our business elsewhere. I have not posted the womanβs name here as Iβm going to assume that she was maybe just having a bad day. However, that being said, we wonβt be using Home Depot products to build our home. Very disappointing.

β β β β β Do not order appliances on line, especially if being shipped out west.
The trucking outfit that they use day and Ross, hands off the parcels to smaller operators that intern takes 15+ days so far to deliver a parcel 125 km from their base.
The day and Ross tracking number ends as soon as the smaller operator picks up the parcel and very little communication between the two delivery outfits. We ordered an appliance on march 4th 2022β¦. It is now April 11, 2022 and the original trucking outfit has no idea where it is, and canβt seem to get a hold of the smaller carrier.
Do your due diligence if you plan on having any freight sent from Ontario to BC with your online purchase through Home Depot Canada.οΏΌοΏΌοΏΌοΏΌοΏΌ

Each sales associate asks if I need anything while walking through, I've spoken to many employees in all sectors of the store and all of them are so knowledgeable about everything!!
