Went to pick up seedlings to start a vegetable garden. There was not too much variety. We visited on a Sunday, then came back a few days later and found even less variety. Still, we ended up with a good selection of seedlings: tomato, cantaloupe, lemon grass, thyme, zucchini, blueberry, blackberry, and strawberries.

Home depot is always a great place to visit when you need to get a DIY job started. Feb 2022 update: I came here looking for some plumbing stuff and I was able to pick up a few things for a decent price. The selection of shower fixtures were nice and I picked out a 3 in One fixture that I installed in my basement. I also purchased a filter for the shower so that the water I use when I shower is softer and easier on the hair and skin. I was satisfied with the Moen shower and I purchased a second one. I also went ahead and bought a kitchen sink for my basement from here which came out looking great. I did have an issue with the plumbing staff working here. One of the home depot staff members who was quite old was a bit rude and oddly racist. He is this white guy white with white hair and he was chatting up these two other white guys who were standing within 4 feet of him. When I approached him he rudely said stand 6 feet back. He also said this to the next guy waiting who was this asian man. I don't get why home depot would hire racist old white people. He also wasn't a plumber and couldn't really help me. There was a philipino plumbing staff member that did help me but he wasn't there the day that old white guy was. April 2022 update: I came here looking for some painting supplies and I was able to find not only what I was looking for but more than that. I found out that the job I was working on needed spackling to repair a part of it.

We have known the store manager Carlos from another location where we saw a huge difference after he became manager there, so we always appreciate him. Once we learned he transferred to the Richmond Hill location, we wanted to shop there as he is very friendly, respectful, and professional. Always helps us with advice for our projects and products as well...very kind person! Also would like to point out other great employees at this location; Eric, Casey, Maria, and Jonathan. All were really helpful and professional. Keep up the good job! Once again thank you, Carlos!

Update: I contacted HD via facebook and they directed my message to store manager. After 3 days, store manager contacted me. He was very polite and helpful who listened to my concerns patiently and showed his apologies. He said: "You guys are the light of this store." Today, I went to this store and got my refund back. I will still go to this HD store for my future project and rate again if I experience something great/bad. Thank you my friends. Original complain: Guys, I hope I can give 0 star. I don't usually write reviews but I had to do it this time as I was threatened at Homedepot Richmond Hill by the manager due to a return. Now I am very upset while writing this review. I was a loyal customer with HD and I spent over $5k for my home renovation projects. HD products and services were always satisfying until this time. I tried to return 3 extra composite deck boards to HD as I finished my deck project recently. I waited at the return service for around 20 min and then they told me the restocking fee would be $150 but 3 deck boards fee costs about $90. It means I have to pay extra $60 to HD in order to return those, which is RIDICULOUS! I asked them if I can talk to their manager as I was told by HD agent that restocking fee is only $5. Then the nightmare came. The manager was so rude he didn't listen to me and repeated that it was written in their terms and condition and he didn't care if I know it or not. I recorded video to try to file a complaint to HD with this manger's agreement. HOWEVER, he ran to me when I was going to leave the store. He threatened to me: "I graduated with business law degree so you should know that you will NEVER win lawsuit if you file a compliant or post online. I am here over 20 years so your complaint won't change anything." I left the deck boards there without returning because I don't have a truck to bring them back. I'm very upset so I have to hide his name and face. $100 is not a big deal to me but I felt not treated well like a customer but get THREATENED. I don't want him to get punished as he can easily find my address and other personal information. I couldn't imagine what will happen to me but I want to voice my concern. I tried to file a complaint to HD online but their online agent told me that they don't have power to do that. She advised me to email HD CEO about this. I hope I never experienced this. Hope you guys avoid this store location and this manager. This manager should be a professional LAWYER instead of HD manager. I will switch to LOWES. Good night my friend

Home Depot Canceled silently my online order without sending any email. The order was on washer machine! I received the order confirmation, I was waiting for delivery.. So now I don't have the machine! Be careful, looks like they scam a lot!!! Later developments: After 2 hours on the phone I asked for the manager, and been told that managers are too busy to speak with me... Incredible! The only I got positive is they opened the case for me.

I'm not one for writing bad reviews but the customer service person I spoke to was especially terrible at her job. I called once, she picked up, waited 3 seconds then hung up. I called again, same thing. I called a third time to be greeted with an impatiently rude HELLO. No introduction, no how can I help you, nothing. I asked her to verify if an item was in stock. She verified that it was in stock in the computer then abruptly hung up on me. I called back thinking it was an honest mistake about our line getting disconnected and she said, "No, I told you we have two on hand." I asked her to do a physical check to which she replied. "I'm busy but I'll take down your number and get back to you." She of course did not get back to me. I called head office and they called the store and confirmed that it was a computer error and that there was nothing in stock which saved me an hour and a half drive for nothing. Called two other home depot locations and they were more than pleasant and helpful on the phone so it's not a home depot issue. It's a location issue. Do better. Thanks.

DON’T go to this store, their service is terrible, even you speak English. We have queue up for an assistant in the store for more than 30 minutes, a new customer coming from nowhere cut in and he knows the assistant (they talked closely something about private job, payment…) then the assistant just SKIP ME without any notice. THEY WALK AWAY FOR ANOTHER 15 MINUTES. I tried to let the assistant know that I’m in line for his help and he didn’t respond to me. My friend asked another staff to help and they just call on their pager, nothing happen until I finally grabbed this assistant in the cashier 10minutes later. He said, he needed to finish the guy that cut the line first. IT’S NOT REASONABLE. And finally we got to have a chance to solve the problem with the assistant after waiting almost 1 hour. ?

Staff here was pretty friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Organized & neat. Plenty parking. I can always find what I need. Most of the times I checked the stocking online before I come.
