★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to find out about my appliances we purchase in December. I spoke with Kelly, although I am not impressed with the outcome of the status of my appliances. She was pleasant to speak with. Just beware of the dates on there appliances because I don't beleuve they are accurate at all. It is looking like it is gonna be atleast 3 months past the original delivery date

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Girls in the paint department are extremely rude to customers- I understand where the line starts but just acknowledging the customers standing there and telling them you’ll be with them in a minute goes a long way. I stood there for awhile not sure if they even saw me so politely went up to one of the girls and asked if she was helping someone to which she very rudely and sarcastically said “I ammmmm….” And the raised her eyebrow at me, I then stated “ok just wanted to make sure you knew I was here”.
This is the third time this exact same thing has happened to me at this specific location. The last time one of the customers in the line with me got into a full blown yelling match with one of them. Customer service training would be helpful.
The rest of the staff in all other departments have always been amazing and courteous.
Don’t normally like writing negative reviews but it had to be said.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really disappointed in the paint department whereby the young lady insisted that I wait at the covid paint line away from the front counter and then she elected to assist two other customers before me as they went directly to the counter. One she showed him a product in an isle and the other customer just had a short (5 minute question). Not cool. I went to Lowe's.

We've recently done two major renovations so I've used a lot of products from their stores, we usually able to find staff to assist me with any of the questions that I may have. I've always had a good experience. There. Staff are her friendly and the prices are competitive with all the other big box retailers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generally a clean and organized store. Sometimes hard to find stuff, but that's understandable given the amount of items they have. Also hard to find help during busy times, but not because the staff aren't working. They are always helping customers and there's usually a line of people following them around just waiting their turn, or waiting to interrupt ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I normally hate going to Home Depot. There are never any customer service reps to help. Yesterday I had the best experience with a very helpful associate, Bonner. He was quick in finding a resolution for me and made good suggestions. Really restored my faith in this store. I hope he is there the next time I need help.

The staff has been friendly and I have dealt with pretty much every department with the exception of appliances. No what to expect from a big hardware store and you wont be disappointed. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Since I just moved to Barrie this was my first Barrie Home Depot trip
So I asked Van about buying a garden hose
He showed be several of them and advised what to buy and what not to buy with excellent reasons he was warm friendly and very very helpful As a lay person it all made sense
I ended up buying all of his recommendations and was glad
Would advise do ask for him before buying the right advice with valid reasons make a lot of sense
Great store with excellent employees to help
