★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I just moved to Chilliwack, as one might expect I needed to head to HomeDepot at Eagle Landing Parkway in order to purchase an assortment of home products for our new place.
As I aimlessly wondered about. I was so very pleased with the employees asking me if I needed assistance and afterwhich either directed me to my item and/or took me directly to what I was looking for. Then as I was asked if I needed help for my last item. A employee took me directly to what I needed. Then to my surprise Steve helped me with my arm full of items, as well as a rather large cumbersome purchase to the checkout. But that wasn't enough, Steve help me take my purchases out to my truck where we had a very friendly personable conversation. And to my surprise, Steve introduced himself as the Store Manager.
Now I have always appreciated HomeDepots customer service at other locations. But this above mention customer service I experienced was way above any thing I've ever experienced when it comes to customer service. This type of customer service is unheard of these days. What a breath of fresh air.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered chairs for over $700. They were cheap and the seats broke during assembly. Then I ordered an expensive gym mat. Shipping delayed by a week and when it arrived it was incorrect. Contacted store and all they could do was tell me to drive back to the store again, return it, and order another and wait. Just terrible

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was assured a purchase of an oven that was apparently in stock. I put the purchase on my Home Depot card and left happy…BUT, later received an email stating delivery was delayed. I was not impressed. I then cancelled the transaction and was told to come in to get it removed from my card. Whenever I went there, which was twice, nobody knew how to reverse the charge to my card…two trips equals 3 hours of my time plus gas…I also did a phone call and was reassured that the paperwork was waiting for me…train your staff Home Depot so you donot waste peoples time….

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Calling in today on the off chance they had stock of blue ice and a bolt lock.
I had absolutely no idea where either of these products might be.
I asked the Meet n Greet Assistant in the entrance, he told me exactly where to find it, and the Assistant in the gardening section was most helpful too.
On my way through I had to ask about the bolt lock, a very helpful lady Assistant, actually took me to the exact location for my purchase.
All three of these employees went wayy above simply telling me where to find my purchases. Fantastic service. Respect to all three of you, you were awesome.
