★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent rental experience - especially with their vans and trucks. They're not new but they work well. No KM charge. Relatively fast checking vehicles out and easy and efficient returns. No excess "other" charges.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rent alot of equipment from Home Depot, and it is always at different locations based on availability, but I have noticed a trend of receiving poor customer service particularly from this location, and particularly from Darrel in tool rental. I discussed it with the tool rental desk at another home depot, and they said they hear alot of complaints about the cyrville store. You know its an issue when other stores are telling customers that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a little plumbing issue with the hot water pipe shut-off valve leak.
I called a plumber, got a quote for 350$ minimum.
I manage to remove the shut-off valve and bring it to Home Depot (Cyrville rd) I explained the problem to a young employee in the plumbing Dpt and was advised a replacement part that doesn't need any soldering for a price of about 17$.
I follow the instructions and install it and it works, no leaks.
I am so grateful, the saving is huge. Thank you home depot.

We purchased an appliance on their website to reserve the product (product was in stock at the time), scheduled it for pick up, showed up on the scheduled date to be told that they sold out. As in, they sold the item we reserved and paid for... tried following up with store personnel - no help or resolution. Tried following up with online support - they told us to call the store. Called the store - no answer, literally on any extension (during business hours). Still have no product or idea of what is going on with our order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my go to place when I need a hardware store. It is a little out of my way as I have a competitor 10 minutes away that I never visit. Home Depot have a good variety of merchandise at reasonable cost. But most of all they have well trained, friendly staff that provide good advice. 5 stars for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a 5 Star experience at the Paint Department. The employee who assisted me was very knowledgeable. She took 20mins or less to match a very old can of paint that turned out to be a flawless match.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the largest, but not the smallest Home Depot out there. Selection and stock is reasonable for its size. Staff tend to be friendly and approachable, but could be more helpful when assisting customers who are unable to find a product. Simply directing them to the aisle may not be sufficient.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Home Depot is a good place to go to get ideas about home renovations and gardening needs. It has some really great deals especially on seasonal items when they are clearing out stock. Such as BBQ, the nursey and discontinued products and special sales. It is necessary to go to the store often to find these deals as they are not advertised.
The tool and van rentals work good too, but those places don't normally have special promotional discounts.
