Just want to repiy to John Greene maybe you should know your facts before commenting. The customer you are so concerned about had been banned from the store for being disrespectful to the staff and verbally abusive as well as coming in drunk. The young lady you said was being disrespectful had politely told the customer to leave as he was banned he refused. She tried 3 times to get him to leave but would not. He started the cussing she tried to ignore but one can only be pushed so far. As for other people buying him alcohol it is illegal. So therfore this lady was doing her job saving the company she works for huge fines. As for the other young man he would have served the customer and maybe got the company a huge fine possibly even closed down. So maybe find out the facts before you judge.

Worst person worker i ever seen. The bigger lady was in the store cursing at another customer she even ran out of the store accusing other customers of buying stuff for him and refused to serve anyone that talk to the man out side the store. The younger guy behind the counter tho was very nice and very respectful.

Great place to shop and the best part-time job I've ever had. What made it the best job ever was my hiring manager. She was so awesome that no matter what happened behind the scenes she kept her cool and just about anything we did, it would seem she let slide because we were still in favor of keeping our employment. When it came to dealing with rude and disrespectful customers, she set an example by not backing down and dealing with them in a harsh and vulgar manner, which meant we could approach those situations in the same way. When it came to theft occurrences, she was a tough lady, not one to be messed with and that was for certain. Like one time she chased out a thief and took her down on the pavement, recovering the bottle she took. She was quite the motivator as well. One time I had a theft occurrence where I did nothing but stood around and witness. When she saw the surveillance footage, she straight called me out for doing nothing, calling me a p***y. Being challenged by her, I took it upon myself to improve my performance by being aggressive on my next theft approach. My next theft occurrence turned out to be an armed robbery. The robber revealed a gun in his belt, then started placing bottles of Smirnoff in his bag. I then decided to take control, lunging at him and imposing immediate force, eventually subduing him in my grasp. Afterward, I was able to get him to cooperate when it came to being escorted out of the store. This time when my manager saw the surveillance footage, she must have liked what she saw, because I was awarded a bottle of liquor soon after. What also made it a great place was some of the customers that came around. For instance, I got educated by a doctor one time, he explained how vodka, in particular, was the alcohol that was the greater cause in cirrhosis and impotence than any other alcohol type. He also claimed that he had a friend who too got impotent for being a chronic vodka drinker. From then on I was opinionated. Sometimes there would be funny moments, like one time a customer came back to the store and asked if I had seen his little bag of crystal methamphetamine he had dropped. Heck, there was also interesting times. There was one occurrence where I heard from this customer about how his gangrene got so bad that a doctor from a nearby medical center recommended that he get his toes amputated. What he did in defiance was got a two-six of liquor from our store and combined it with fentanyl so to block out the pain when it came too personally removing his own toes. Also, a commendation of praise should go towards the company that does the hiring, for I found out how laid back they are when it comes to the procedure. At the time I heard from my fellow co-worker how she was fired from a previous liquor store for being suspected of theft and up until her unfortunate leave, oddly enough, theft drastically decreased from then on. Surely, there should be no connection. It was also a great working atmosphere, and in some ways, it felt like I was in some sort of simulation where I had activated a cheat code because at most times work didn't feel like work. Honestly, this was the best minimum-wage job I could have, and a manager to be proud of. To say the least and to prove my claim to be true. So after my second armed robbery, anyone who valued their life would have quit their job that day, but not me because I was not yet willing to let go of the freedom that was given to us on how to run that store. What a Great Canadian Experience.

I made a business call to this location and met the manager Maureen. The store itself is located right on Whyte Ave by the Bonnie Doon Mall. Good selection in stock. The manager really makes the store! Maureen is very helpful and will be sure to try and have your special drink in stock. Pleasant experience with Parking in front.

Amazing staff, they are up beat, helpful and knowledgeable about their product. There is good selection, competitive prices, and the shelves are always stocked and faced nicely. I would highly recommend!

No selection + bad customer service. Will never be back.

I buy Strawberry Ice Smirnoff (5 cases) every 10 days and today was the third time that they had NONE in stock. I will never go back to this store and from now on shop at Liquor Depot, b/c they always have my product.

Not a big corporate chain, locally owned. Surprisingly broad selection, considering the size of the store. Staff is friendly, well informed, and most importantly, patient with all my questions. Check out the staff picks shelf.
