Decided to give this place another go and I was not disappointed. The drinks were flowing, our server was so attentive and kind, the bacon mac and cheese was so good! The calamari was battered lightly just how I like it I even enjoyed the side garden salad! I'll be back!

Mediocre service and food for its price point. Surprised that drinks were served in disposable plastic cups rather than glass, especially as they are also a microbrewery. We were a table of four and there under an hour in total, in part because the table was being completely bussed as we were in the middle of eating. Condiments and unfinished drinks were being taken from the table without asking despite that we had food items for which we still wanted to use the condiments. The server was polite but most certainly left the impression that she was done serving us regardless of the fact meals were still being consumed. Visited on May 7, 2022 Orders: - 1-piece fish and chips - buffalo chicken sandwich and fries - George burger and fries - jr. George burger and fries - side of chipotle aioli

Service was ok, food was not good at all. We ordered, pretzels with a beer cheese. Wasn't cheese. Was a lumpy roux, that reminded me of sludge at the bottom of a sink. Also had the red pepper spinach dip, really tasted like a dip you'd buy in the grocery store with stale chips. Unfortunately we were hungry and unfamiliar with the area so we stayed and the kids ate what was in front of them. Definitely will not be eating those foods again if we ever decide to come back. Husband and I left hungry. Disappointing for a brewery

Went in before monster jam hamilton, kitchen lost our order. Waited over an hour for the food once everything was sorted out. Waitress came out told us the fish taco was sold out, then brought the taco out. Our sons chicken tenders were the only good thing about this meal. I had the sticky chicken sandwich with fries, when it came out it had a garden salad on it and was soggy. I never received the fries. I was charged for everything we had ordered even though we didn't get everything we ordered. The worst customer service I have ever witnessed. The food was okay, nothing special(could of been the hour wait)

I'll preface by saying I understand it was a busy night as the Toronto Rock were playing, which is why we were there in the first place. Was excited about this pub as it was a microbrewery. We tried 4-5 different brews. They were all terrible. The red colt being the best, but all were barely drinkable. We waited nearly 30 minutes to receive said beers. We were a party of 6, and all ordered an entree which we waited 1.5 hours to receive, however we never did receive them . We got close, then waitress came over and said our ticket was next and they were just plating them. Then came back a few minutes later and said that the order was lost and wouldn't come in time before the game. We arrived at 5pm so we'd have plenty of time to eat and have some drinks. We had to resort to arena food. Quite terrible and will never step foot in this establishment again . Do yourself a favor and seek a better choice of restaurants. Epic Failure .

I’ve driven past the restaurant so many times and decided to stop in. So glad we did! While the decor is a bit older, the place is very unique with vintage photos of the city on the tabletops and a real pub like feel. Our meals were great, we had the Carolina Sticky Chicken sandwich with fries and Caesar salad, and they were excellent. Really enjoyed the craft beers too! Definitely coming back again.

Headed here during the Grey Cup festival. I've eaten a lot of Buffalo chicken sandwiches over the years...the one I ate here was, by far, the BEST one I've ever had. It was the perfect balance. It had a small kick. The beers were awesome too. I didn't realize that they were also a brewery. The red coat was a favourite as was their IPA. All in all, this is a must visit bar. I will be back for sure!

I recently went to The George Hamilton Restaurant for an early dinner. The service was good with the waiters and waitresses though I was disappointed with the fish which didn’t have much taste though the Caser Salad was decent. Overall I would not recommend the Fish and Chips, but I would return again to checkout the other dishes that they have as others who were with me had decent meals. The presentation of the dish was good though.
