Best Grocery store in Canada

M	Metal Tiger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean store, not too big. Fresh meat is great. Most everything is obscenely overpriced. Buy most items at half the price or less next door at the No Frills store. Most of the sale items at the Garden Basket are at, near or past best before date. Who do they think they're kidding?! This store has always had disinfectants readily available at the entrance even before the pandemic. Extra points for that. Shop here for meat and see how much you're saving by buying everything else next door. I recommend this store for this reason.

Certain items are on the pricey side but you are paying for the quality in the product that doesn't turn bad the next day. I recommend to shop here.

The price has gone up from $17.99 to $21.99 which we understand is due to inflation however, when we got home and ate some there was barley any meat and only one very thin layer cheese. I can’t imagine it would take more that a few dollars to make that, the markup is outrageous and the quality is far from what you would expect from a gourmet grocer.
