We went into the store , met a very nice & knowledgeable salesman. We received a very detailed demonstration of several different bbq’s and he helped us make a decision for the appropriate one for us. They were very accommodating for the delivery as we were limited for time . The two gentlemen that delivered and installed our bbq were very professional and knowledgeable. Also made sure we were comfortable using it before they left . We would highly recommend The Fireplace Stop!

I tried many times to give this company my money, but appointments were never made, calls were never returned, I started the process of trying to get a wood burning fireplace (renaissance Rumford 1000) in our house in October 2021 and by December, no one had made any attempts to go further with the process. I ended up giving the money to another company who I ordered in February and had the install done in March. I know this company has some great reviews, which is why I wanted to work with them, but I had to go elsewhere.

If you are looking for the worst shopping experience of your life then continue, otherwise do not use this company!!! My wife and I decided we wanted to get a fireplace for Christmas so we made an appointment to look at some units in May. By the time we were done it was 10 months later. We made an appointment for 4pm. We were made to wait 45 minutes at which time Andrew quickly showed us around and then escorted us out at 5pm because they closed. Against better judgement we decided to order a stove and after repeated calls and emails, weeks turned into months and we were sent an invoice for a unit we did not even order. We kept calling and no one would return our inquiries. Finally after close to 4 months Andrew responded and said he had forgotten to order our fireplace even though we put down a deposit. This makes sense why he was dodging us. We then made an installation appointment and Andrew pawned us off on another stove because he had it in stock as the one we wanted clearly still wasn't ordered. Now we had a stove we didn't want installed in our house. It took calling Andy the owner to get the correct stove sized for our space ordered. Our conversations and treatment by this company was terrible. They posted blame on anyone they could including other staff instead of doing what was right. At one point we were told they had no record of us on file. The customer service from this company is absolutely deplorable to the point we were lied to, to cover up their mistakes and never once did anyone even so much as offer a simple apology. I strongly recommend going with another supplier, obviously the glowing reviews are friends or all made up. I am surprised they are still in business. Be warned!

I was extremely happy with Andrew and his installers. I was able to purchase the fireplace I wanted and the prompt install. I was on a tight timeline and they made my install worry free. We were replacing an old and dated gas insert in a wood burning fireplace. The draft coming from the opening without the unit was too cold. I approached a reputable local company and after making a down payment, the installers arrived to say the job could not be done because the new units would not fit/not reach gas line access. That company actually referred me to The Fireplace Stop and Andrew, the sales manager, assured me that his team could make it work. The Fireplace Stop takes pride in its roots as a family business and goes the extra mile for the customer. A beautiful showroom of several fireplace units can be viewed before purchase and their price was fair without any surprise costs. The installers made the job seamless and within hours, the fireplace that "couldn't be done" was completed, lit and warming our house beautifully. I was astounded at how smoothly new gas inserts work and how they give off a such realistic orange flame. An excellent experience, and I would highly recommend them!
