The Esthetic Institute Training Center - Calgary

I love this school, I have taken many classes here and they have been amazing. The instructors are super knowladage and skilled. The school itself is beautiful, clean, and up to date with all the latest! And the staff is always so kind, and helpful. I highly recommend this school for any of your Esthetic training!

After doing lots of research for a reputable school with programs I was interested in I finally decided on TEI. From day one they have been nothing short of amazing! All the instructors they have are hands down the best of the best. If I ever ran into a sang or issues (classes or scheduling)they were there to rectify the situation immediately. The women here are so up lifting and motivating it makes me so sure I made the right choice is choosing their school. I started with their microblading program and will now be completing both their full programs come the middle of May. Quality education is what they are about and I really appreciate that! After completing classes here I have a bright and open future and have received great employment opportunities thanks to this amazing school and their amazing staff! Melissa Loeffler

I had the opportunity to be in the CIDESCO class and it was the best decision I have made! Throughout the whole process of signing up/tour of the school and student loans Vanessa made it easy and stress free! The 9 months blew by only feeling like a couple of months, because I had so much fun and was happy to step in the doors and learn! The instructor Meredith, is extremely knowledgable and skilled in the Esthetic's/Business world, making our class confident in the knowledge/skills we have learnt and always was there to ask any further challenging questions. The TA's Julianne, Stacy and Angela were a huge help in spa days and also there to help you with any challenges you had in life that were interfering with learning. After the 9 months were over, all the girls felt like family, it was one of the best experiences in life that gave me life time friends, memories and my International cidesco diploma!!

Seems appropriate to write my review on thanksgiving, because I am so thankful for my time at TEI in the CIDESCO Diploma. The nine months spent studying esthetics with Meredith was nothing but a rewarding experience. Meredith is an exceptional teacher and mentor. With the support of her excellent teaching assistants (Julie-Anne, Stacey, and Angela), my questions were always answered in a way that complimented my learning style. Without a doubt I believe that being a CIDESCO student gives you an upper hand in this industry. The curriculum goes above and beyond what you need to know to be successful in esthetics. It is a challenging course but if you are dedicated to your studies you will find success. Overall my time at TEI has been so rewarding, thanks to all of my fellow classmates, the staff and exceptional teachers.

I recently completed my Facials Level 1 course with instructor Betty Anne. From the beginning, The Esthetic institute was available to answer my questions, offering all their assistance when it came to me planning the best options to further my career. Andrea, was very kind, taking the time to explain other courses offered and giving me a tour of the institute. I ADORE Betty Anne, my beautiful instructor. Her energy was amazing and she truly taught us the importance of connection and care for our clients. My classmates were lovely as well, a real helpful group! The institute let me rent out a room to help fill my quotas after our lessons were done, giving my clients a luxury spa experience. Plus, having the beauty depot right next door is a bonus! With exclusive products, my clients always went home happy and relaxed. Great school! I look forward to my future classes here!

From inception to completion of my studies in the CIDESCO Diploma program 2020 Vanessa and the staff have been supportive, helpful and responsive. Covid-19 was unprecedented and abrupt, but I commend the school for their swift actions in constructing and implementing a plan to ensure that we were able to complete our studies in a timely manner. The instructors and TA's are the best, they truly are a dedicated group of people.They always assisted us and encouraged us throughout this journey. You most certainly will be taught the highest level of sanitation and hygiene during training also. As an international student I would highly recommend this fine institution to all seeking a sound education in the beauty industry.

I'm one of The Esthetic Institute's Students and I have no words to describe how thankful I am for all the care they have with us students. All their staff and Instructors are extremely professional, friendly and caring. I also experienced the transition from in person classes to online classes due COVID and they offered me all the possible ways to keep my studies going on and make me feel comfortable. They are just great in everything they do! One of the best investments I did in my life! If I could I gave 10 stars for them! ;)

I do have two opinions about the esthetic institute . I took two courses in this institute, medical esthetics which I highly recommend ,very professional training so many modules you get kits with almost every module I loved every minute of it , the seconde course is make up artisty it was a disaster I hated every minute of it tried to not continue the course but I was on student loan so I couldn’t , you only have 7 days of practice which is very low for the make up artistity (other school have 3 days a week for 4 months ) you only learn one type of make up with different Colors nothing artistic about it just make up that you can learn on YouTube videos without having to spend 7k $ … you get to work on 3 models for a “professional photo shoots “ when I got the models picture it was pure disaster the pics was very amateur nothing like a what I was expected raw picture from the camera no edit , the instructor TRENA LANE was very pushy and tried to control everything that I was doing because it was too trendy ( maybe because she is not talented enough to take risks or be artistic for example we didn’t even learn how to do wing eyeliner … ) She was there filming what we do all the time so she can post on socials and when one of my models asked not to be on social media THE INSTRUCTOR didn’t care and put a video of my model on her socials and when I Asked her to remove it she said no women should support each other , but no if someone ask to not be on social media because they have reason . plus the make up kit was very little compared with other schools so if someone is reading this I don’t recommend make up on the esthetic institute
