Very good food. Prices were a bit higher than others but food was delicious, fast service and a friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic place to enjoy a meal. Food and service were excellent. I would recommend it to anyone!

We drove to Belleville and decided to try the wings that received such great reviews at the Dugout. Ordered 10 wings each of the dry rub and hot sauce. What we found was that the dry rub was so so dry seemed over fried and if it wasn’t for the hot sauce the other ones would have been just as dry. I think we’ll pass when we come into town the next time.

Best sports bar I have ever been in. Food is delicious and prices are very reasonable. It’s our favourite place to go. Service is amazing, I just can’t say enough about the place. Do yourself a favour and visit.

My girl friend and I ate here yesterday afternoon. She ordered a 1/2 chicken wrap and I ordered a 1/2 Montreal smoked Meat. We both had sweet potato fries and Greek salad as sides. We also both asked for ice water. I was very disappointed when we were both served bottled water with a glass of ice. I have never been served bottled water at any restaurant I have ever eaten at. I understand that some customers request bottled water but that was definitely not the case. I should have refused it but did not want to make a scene. I truly believe that this is a policy that The Dugout owner has instituted so that they can make big profit from forcing their clients to pay for bottled water. After looking around at the other tables, I noticed that almost every table had at least 1 bottled water. I also am disgusted about this due to the fact that this adds more single use plastic pollution to the environment that is 100% unnecessary. As for the meals, my girl friend enjoyed her chicken wrap, but our Greek Salads were just regular house salads with a bit of feta cheese sprinkled on it and 2 or 3 sliced black olives added. My smoked meat was fairly large in size however it was probably the worst smoked meat I have ever had as the meat was very chewy. I am from the Montreal region and have consumed many excellent smoked meat sandwiches in my life. I don't know if it was the quality of the meat used or how it was cooked. I can believe that smoked meat would turn out very chewy if it was microwaved as the cooking/heating method. The service was fairly fast, however the server should have asked if we wanted bottled or tap water and not assumed or even served us bottled water without our request for same. Will not be returning to The Dugout ever again except possibly to try their breakfast on week-ends.

The wife and I loved it. The food was good old fashion,what we wanted and got,nice atmosphere about the place and the staff,look after and treat you well. Has a nice bar and lots of TV's if you need that sort of thing. Nice layout customer friendly

My husband and I were looking for a quick lunch in East end of Belleville today and decided to try the Dugout. Service was very fast and efficient. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon so it wasn't very busy and there was no wait to get in. I had the 8 oz strip loin steak with a baked potato and chef salad and my husband had the third base burger. My husband said that his Burger was very good and even though the fries were of the frozen variety, they were not bad. My steak was just a tad overcooked, but was still edible. The baked potato was huge as was the chef salad. We also shared the deep fried curd appetizer and that was fantastic! It was a huge order for only $10. Overall, for the price it was a good meal and I would go again and try something else on the menu. I have heard that the Montreal smoked meat sandwich is good.

For our first time experience, this was truly a gem. The staff were very friendly and courteous. The food everyone ordered was over the top with taste, portion size and presentation. If your looking for a restaurant for a quick bite or terrific dinner, this is it. Should you want to stop for just a beverage there is lots of sports on several TV screens. Comfy and cozy and a must for your next stop
