J	Jag Baddukonda on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was happy when I read that North Oshawa has a Doner outlet. 1. I was the only person to place an order as the others had placed their orders and were waiting. Stood for about 10-15 mins and a person came up to take my order. When I started ordering she mumbled something, and, went to the others and asked what they ordered and started preparing that stuff. If they did not want to take new orders, they should state it right away. Why make me stand for 10-15 mins? 2. The staff were International students working in this joint and I doubt if they ever tasted or made a Doner before in their lives:-). This coming from someone who lived in Germany and had Doners regularly at the Turkish joints there.

I tried their Berlin chicken doner and it was good, a little different in taste than the normal shawarmas out there. Their fries were a solid 7/10, without the cheese.

R	Ruffrock on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I first saw this place open I got excited. Haven’t had a good gyro in a while. Finally stopped in and picked up a lamb and a chicken gyro. Unfortunately I was disappointed by the service. Was very difficult to communicate with either staff member. The young lady that helped me really didn’t seem to have a care in the world as she prepared my gyros. Didn’t ask me a single question about how I would like it prepared and didn’t prepare it very nicely. While preparing it she ran out of tomatoes and both staff disappeared into the back for almost five minutes. Returned with only enough for one order. Also ordered cheese fries and the young lady pulled a huge can of processed cheese sauce from under the counter, the lid was pried half off and it wasn’t covered. She tried to scoop it out but after I saw what was in that can I declined my fry order. I really wish the service and food was better. I love a good gyro but feel like I need to find it elsewhere.

All the ingredients were super fresh and I really enjoyed the build your own bowl option. If you want to kick your meal up a notch definitely get yourself some of the spicy sauce on the side for dipping! The owner/manager was so nice as well. I can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu :)

They were being extremely careful with preparing the food and presentation of it. We ordered Gyro Chicken Platter and Chicago Gyro for Take-out. Both tasted simple and good. Not too many sauces or mixed flavours. Wishing them Good Luck ✨
