We really liked the location of the bistro, and the building itself. The beer was beautifully ice cold, and the food was very tasty with generous servings. We had the bistro burger, and the chicken curry. We were very pleased with both dishes, and would definitely recommend to others.

The bistro is in an old church on the shore of the Trent Waterway. Hubs had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich & fries. The boy had the grilled vegetable salad & beef strips & I had the smoked meat poutine. I have to say the gravy on my poutine almost brought me to tears. I have NEVER had such delicious gravy! Hubs & the boy also enjoyed their meals but were much less emotional about it ;) We're already thinking about when we can get back there for dinner.

Service was friendly and helpful as I added a couple of dockside ale tall cans to my order. I ordered a caesar salad and tortellini with garlic bread and sliced sausage. The portions were plentiful as this lasted me for two nights but I could have finished it in one night because it was all very flavourful. The tortellini were larger than I’m used to seeing at other establishments, which I enjoyed, and it had a nice, creamy sauce.

The restaurant is bright, beautiful and welcoming with friendly staff to serve you. We started with the tandoori chicken bites and mini potato cakes for our appetizers, and they were fantastic!! (I don't like spicy food, but I enjoyed both of these with some ice water....a little bit of heat, for sure). For our entrées, we enjoyed the Roast Beef with Red Wine, the T-bone Steak, the Clucking Good Sandwich, and the Stuffed Peppers. Everything was wonderful and the portions are very generous! We already know what we'd like to try the next time we visit.

We were surprised how open they were to us bringing our 6 month old puppy along (dog friendly Bistro!) the food was amazing, presentation was even better. The chef had used hand made kadai for the butter chicken which was a nice touch, after out meal he came out to have a nice chat. They put a lot of love into their dishes and it really shows. A big thank you to the staff! If you're local or out of town, give this place a try and you won't regret it!

Their meals are always fresh there is generous portions, beautifully decorated and as a bonus the owners stop by to visits the guests. The atmosphere in this place is really nice and it has its own parking. The decoration, the location, the delicious food, the friendly service and the lovely looks of the plates, make this place a MUST when you visit Campbellford in Trent Hills! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Highly advised to call ahead of time due to Covid restrictions.

They also have an excellent choice of wine and beer. The food is fresh and well prepared. The layout of the restaurant makes you feel not crowded, and also makes it wheelchair friendly for any that might need the extra space. The proprietors are very friendly and helpful.
