The Compounding Centre Pharmacy

I wanted to appreciate Ehab's efforts. He goes over and beyond to serve his clients. The other evening I submitted a late prescription when they were about to close but Ehab still went out of his way to make the medication ready. Now this is what I call "exceeding clients expectations!"

Great pharmacy with good service! I’ve been getting my medications from this location for a few years now. They give good educational information as well. They’re easy to reach by phone and the wait isn’t too long.

Amazing pharmacy! We have been filling prescriptions here for almost two years and have never had a bad experience. Everyone goes above and beyond in terms of customer service, compassion and kindness. Highly recommend!

Paul, Liza and Sarah stepped in to help me when no one else would! I had an emergency this afternoon. I split my time between my apartment in Scarborough and my girlfriend's place in Oakville. Due to poor planning, I had completely run out of my daily antidepressant. I thought it would be no big deal to get a week's worth from the pharmacist at the Big Red Drug Store, so I went there. "Sorry, we don't have any records." I was told. I've been on this medication for almost a decade and I've gotten it from this location before "Not in the last six months. That's as far as our records go back." They can't fill it. Pharmacy in Scarborough (part of the Big Red Drug Store chain) says "we'll give you an emergency supply, come in". I'm eighty kilometres away, more than an hour in traffic each way. Can you transfer the emergency supply to Oakville? "No, we can't do that." Okay, Oakville, what do I do? "There's a walk-in clinic, get a prescription from there." Seriously? All right.... Go to walk-in. Closing soon. Doctor's busy. Can't write script without seeing him. Come back tomorrow. Tomorrow, I'll be a quivering mess hiding under the blankets because I don't have my meds. That doesn't help me. Cue Paul. I'm not his patient,. I've never been to this pharmacy before. He doesn't know me, but he's been listening. He says, "Hey, give me the number for your pharmacy." Paul calls the Scarborough pharmacy, talks to the staff. Gets a copy of my medication history for this drug. Okays a week's worth. Stays late to bottle it up for me, bills my insurance, and I'm good. Liza and Sarah are assisting him, three dedicated professionals helping someone in need. I may never go back to the Big Red Drug Store. Paul and company went WAY out of their way to help a total stranger, with kindness, professionalism, and practicality. They've earned my business going forward. And restored some of my lost faith inhumanity! Thank you!

Got all the information including the health card to let me know that they do not submit to OHIP. My 4 year old medication wich is covered by OHIP was about to cost me $85. They should have told me this information before they got the health card information.

This is my 2nd visit to the CCP, I'm proud to say I received exceptional service! Rahela, Liza & Paul were wonderful when it came to my prescription. I called in advance to make sure it was ready for pick up and by wednesday, all I had to do was go straight to the cashier's desk with my name and card in hand. It's nice and busy, yet dimly lit for guest who may deal with vision issues but there is opportunity of course open the blinds. Just a little humour lol. Thank you CCP!

Delivery service is terrible!! ALWAYS comes after 9:30pm, incredibly unprofessional, does not wear a mask when handing over the medication, even when dealing with sick people. Sometimes the pharmacists ‘forget’ to submit medications for delivery even when asked days before. This is people’s health care they are dealing with, so unprofessional and careless.

The service at the Compounding Pharmacy is outstanding. Shawn, Paul and Rahela have exceptional service and made a medicated cream for me and my son that was not easy to find. Shawn also went above and beyond to discuss my medications in detail and his knowledge was very helpful.
