I had signed up for it before the first level was even finished because I wanted to be sure to continue on this clay journey uninterrupted. Clay Warehouse provides such a positive learning environment in terms of instruction, encouragement, flexibility and the availability of supplies. The opportunity to book Open Studio sessions where you can spend three hours absorbed in practising your skills or creating on your own time is such a bonus. Courtney and Scott jointly own the studio and they have developed a studio culture designed to ensure that you will enjoy pottery just a much as they do.

Courtney was a very patient and knowledgeable instructor. If you’ve ever wanted to try this, go for it. The people at the Clay Warehouse were the most supportive.

Courtney was a great instructor, so the whole class had a strong basic skillset and some nice functional pieces by the end of the 6 weeks. We also had some good laughs along the way! I recommend taking a pottery class with them if you're looking for a fun, relaxing time with great people.

From the first time I walked in the door, it was clear that Courtney and Scott had prioritized making their business friendly, inclusive, and community oriented. In addition to offering classes and open studio time, they have a fantastic selection of quality supplies and they are always interested in learning more about what their customers need. Highly recommend them for all of your ceramics needs!

I can't say enough good things about the Clay Warehouse. this was my first wheel throwing class and Courtney was wonderful- a thorough, patient and encouraging teacher. I just wish this place was closer to Vancouver as it took me so long to get to Port Coquitlam and back. I would be there all the time if it was closer. A tremendous asset to the ceramics community, the Clay Warehouse is beyond excellent.

I have taken 2 workshops and a bunch of open session here and I can say that Courtney and Scott are soooo knowledgable and kind (and funny!). Whether you are skilled or a beginner (like me), The staff has all the resources, kindness and patience. Such a great addition to our community. I've been going for 5 months now and loving every second. If you’re thinking about taking a pottery class, DO IT! I was a little nervous for it being my first time since high school but I couldn’t have had a better experience! Scott gave me the perfect amount of guidance and freedom to create what we wanted. Not to mention a little sprinkle of sarcasm to keep the smile on my face while I learned. I am so thankful I found this place!
