An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

The first time was a late lunch on Sunday and then a lunch on Wednesday.
We sat on the patio on Sunday and indoors in a booth behind the bar on Wednesday.
Our meal on Sunday was most delicious, but our server seemed to be more involved with her friends at another table. She actually sat down with them for an extended period of time.
On Wednesday our server seemed to forget where we were seated. We had to chase her down in order to pay our bill.
After our second visit, my wife experienced a reaction to her chicken & salad (the Power Soul Bowl) that she had ordered. Three hours after leaving the restaurant, her stomach was cramping, which was followed by you-know-what. This continued for 5 grueling days! Google's diagnosis: food poisoning.

Mr. Spencer is dedicated to the business and truly cares about guest experiences and puts time and effort into making customers feel welcome and appreciated; fantastic job. He alone has made it so we will return to this establishment and give it another go whenever we get the chance to swing through Moosejaw.
Awful experience two days in a row.....we went the first night and got there just before 730 we were informed that we had to leave as kids couldn't be there after 7, yet on the door it says after 8, we were then told that we'll it's actually 7 cause we take that long to serve you, we'll then change your times man...either way our group left and decided we would come back the next day at 5, we waited for what felt like a decent amount of time without being approached to be seated and left once again. I'm sure the food is good and if you don't have kids then easy peasy but what a joke to try with kids. It was a nigh ruining experience.

He went the extra mile to make our visit memorable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could, this review would be no stars. Most disappointing food I have had in Moose Jaw. I ordered their Steakhouse Sandwich which comes with "7 oz sirloin steak with sautéed mushrooms, garlic toast, and our famous steak sauce." taken straight from their website. There was also an option of adding on a shrimp skewer for $5.99 which I added. My poor experience consisted of asking for a medium rare steak and getting the most tough, cold, and disgusting steak I have ever had, there was no "famous steak sauce", and no shrimp skewer. How is it possible to mess up an order this bad!? I wanted to go away for the weekend and treat me and my family to some good rated food and had one of the worst experiences possible. The steak was uneatable and I am disgusted by this establishment, I would never recommend this establishment to anyone or even remotely consider getting food for myself again.
