An Edmonton boys' dream turned reality. Roger Newton purchased an old pool hall in the west end of Edmonton, with a clear vision of what was missing from the city of champions. There were Irish Bars, English Pubs, and even Belgian Cafes, but there was nothing that truly honoured the rich heritage of Canada. Combine that with his love of Sports, Roger opened the first ever Canadiana Sports Bar in West Edmonton, The Canadian Brewhouse. This location has since closed, but it was the start of a service industry giant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Callie was an absolute QUEEN. The most incredible service I’ve ever had. Suggest incredible drinks and was able to answer every question I had with detail. Definitely the best server I’ve ever had. When you come here please ask for her and it would be a pleasure to be in her section!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to Chestermere Brewhouse today for a friends birthday dinner and Bree gave us the friendliest greeting at the door while checking all of our covid information! She was super outgoing, sat us at our table and let us know our server for the night Sasha would be right over. When Sasha came up she had the same friendliness and positive energy, introduced herself to us and went over all the promotions! She knew everything so well & gave us amazing service the entire time, she was great with checking in to see if we needed anything and provided prompt service. So happy we picked here for the birthday dinner & will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last night we had the BEST server and food. Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Keana for making us feel special and for treating us so well. She even gifted us a dessert….the caramel poutine. It was so incredible. Yummy cinnamon stick “fries” with loads of whipped cream “curds” and caramel-chocolate “gravy” It was so appreciated ❤️

She has a fantastic sense of humour and knows how to read her customers and match their vibe. She checked on us many times to attend to our every need and she was very on the ball. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Calgary visiting friends, and they brought me to Brewhouse. Honestly the best place to watch live sports and have drinks. Ellena was a great host! Very attentive to our needs and made yummy suggestions for what to try. Thursday has some great deals with Chinese food and half price wine ? definitely will be back thanks to Ellena's friendly and amazing service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am almost impressed by how long it took to bring us such terrible food. Waited around an hour for chicken caesar wraps with barely any chicken, fish and chips that were 80% batter, and a mealy clubhouse with a side salad that looked 3 days old. Oh and instead of balsamic vinaigrette, they brought out blue cheese dressing...which they later told us was because they were out of vinaigrette. Makes sense! Out of 7 of us, none enjoyed our meals but we payed $20/plate for the privilege.
