About The BloomBox
Welcome to The BloomBox! We are a full service flower shop located in Brandon, Manitoba Canada. This shop has been serving Brandon and the surrounding area as the premier florist for 35 over years.
Since purchasing the shop in 2008 many things have changed here. Initially part of a franchise, Trish & Shaun took it in a new direction when they changed the name and went completely independent. Since then Trish has gained her CFD and AIFD designations by furthering her education, the only one in Western Manitoba to do so.
In March 2018 our little shop's cooler decided to retire. While some would see this as a hardship we turned it into an opportunity to build our dream shop. A completely new floor plan, layout, displays and of course high efficiency walk in cooler transformed our little shop just in time for our 10th anniversary.
In July 2021 we teamed up with two other local businesses, the Green Spot Garden Centre and The Secret Garden Cafe (Chez Angela Bakery & Cafe), and moved to our current location inside the Green Spot at 1451 Rosser Ave East. Our three businesses had a vision of a destination for gardeners, flower, and coffee lovers in the eastern part of the city. After years of planning, construction delays and unpredictable world wide events The East Edge Market (T.E.E.M.) was born! We are so excited to be working along side long time friends Bernie Whetter, James and Angie Chambers to bring something new to Brandon and bring a unique shopping experience to the East Edge!
Through unique designs and a desire to offer the best possible customer service we have worked to grow our business to be one of the most trusted brands in Brandon today. Along with our highly trained staff we are always raising the bar for design and customer service. In our ten years we have served over 80,000 clients, helped local charities and service clubs raise thousands of dollars and have made many friends along the way, our favorite part!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a bouquet from out of province for my parents anniversary (they are in Brandon). As you can see the arrangement advertised looks nothing like the arrangement they received. With flowers of a different colour than wanted, to randomly added flowers. We wanted purple pop, not pink. I understand with covid that some things simply are not in stock at the moment, however I was given no notice or "heads up" about the several changes that were made.
To add to this I received 2 invoices. One when ordered and one when the flowers were ready for pickup (several days after my card was charged). The first invoice was for 84$, and the second was for 94$ with a surprise 10$ service charge. It's not like the flowers were delivered, we had a family friend pick them up for us. Why is that not reflected into the price of the flowers instead of a surprise "bonus" not even shown until a second invoice AFTER we had already been charged.
At this point the only reason they got the second star was because the people I spoke to on the phone were friendly, and the flowers (albeit not what we wanted) are in very good condition.
