I was looking forward to working with The Bloom Room for my wedding day. The owner had great attention to detail, and provided various flower options and arrangement styles, ribbon etc for my bouquets. However, the disorganization, lack of timely response, continual excuses, and the shop being closed without notice for a scheduled appointment, were reasons I had to cancel my order shortly before my wedding.

Placed Order for same day deliver at 8am Friday. $70 order. Payment taken and email confirmation of order received. They said they would contact me when delivered. It is now Sunday and no delivery. Have called multiple times over the last three days and sent emails inquiring. No answer and no voicemail enabled. Emails to inquiry were not responded to or were bounced back as unable to deliver. As far as I can tell this business will take your money, not provide the service paid for nor ability to contact them. this is fraudulent behaviour. DO NOT USE THIS business.

We ordered flowers for my mum for Mother’s Day and they weren’t delivered on the day they were supposed to be… next morning we got a delivered notice but nothing was delivered… we were told that they made an error and something would 100% be dropped off by the end of the day. Nothing. We called the next day to find out that the delivery driver said β€œour address didn’t exist” and dropped them off at a completely different address instead (our house is easily findable on google maps). We were told yesterday that we could talk to the delivery driver (for what reason, I don’t know..) and that we would receive a bouquet and full refund. Still have yet to hear ANYTHING from them. We keep having to call THEM to get updates. My mum did not receive her Mother’s Day flowers, they still have our money, and are giving us the run-around. This whole experience has been frustrating and ridiculous and I don’t know how they are still in business if this is how they run things.

Edit: was able to reach the owner, was given a full refund and told they will send a complimentary arrangement tomorrow with an apology note. I'm still disappointed that my mother didn't receive her arrangement on Mother's day but glad that they were able to resolve the issue and appreciate the gesture. I ordered and was billed for a Mother's Day bouquet which still has never been delivered to my mother almost a week later. No one has called me or her to try arrange a late delivery. Very disappointed and require a refund!

The owner did a beautiful job for our wedding. She added extra touches such as rose petals. My issue was with her time management, punctually, and communication skills. The schedule we agreed on was not adhered to causing a lot of stress and inconvenience. I understand that situations may arise, but better communication is strongly suggested.

Amazing service and a wonderful owner. Really takes the time to listen to her customers. Incredible florist that creates beautiful bouquets. This woman is pretty amazing with the trials life has thrown at her. A story of adversity and determination in running a business and taking care of a terminally ill child. A super star in my books. 5+ stars. Highly recommend!

Update Jan 25, 2022: I am updating this review to 3 stars because The Bloom Room has now refunded the purchase price which has helped resolve some of the issues, however, I would have gladly paid the full price for what we ordered as well as additional delivery if it was considered out of town (I received an email today stating the delivery was made out of town for free and there was only free delivery in town - it was 11 km and a 12 minute drive away from the store - which doesn't make sense because once you put the delivery address in, it should charge accordingly). All I can advise at this point is that if there are any majors changes to what is going to be delivered, it should be discussed with the purchasers first. Thank you for trying to at least fix the situation. Original Review: We ordered the premium version (the most expensive one) of Garden of Memories for my aunt in memory of my uncle that passed away. The delivery was set for Jan 16 but it was finally delivered on Jan 19 late afternoon although I received a delivery email showing it had been delivered on Jan 19 at 8:04 am. After I called multiple times with no answer during business hours and no voicemail, someone finally answered and said they would refund $25 towards the purchase to make up for the late delivery. The picture showed at least 8 or 9 different plants and it said the planter is 14 inches wide by 18 inches high. My aunt received a 5.5 inch planter with one orchid in it with a couple of small leafy things that didn't even fill the planter. I was so embarrassed when I saw what was delivered (my cousin sent a picture once it arrived) that I went to a different florist and bought another planter closer to the one we thought was being delivered and gave it to my aunt the day of the funeral (Jan 20). She was over the moon with the new planter. It seems this has happened before if you look at other reviews so do yourself a favour and go to a different florist. I wish I had read the reviews in advance. A nice website which is what the $9.99 service charge is for (Lovingly) does not mean you will get what you paid for. When I called Lovingly to put in a complaint they said I had to deal directly with the florist because they just created the website for Bloom Room Floral Company which is why they get the $9.99 per order (free delivery but a service charge for the website creator).

***EDIT*** The Bloom Room owner called me and refunded us the amount of our purchase, minus the driver tip which she couldn't refund. She also gave us an in-store credit in addition to our refund, which was very kind. She was extremely apologetic about what happened. I think like many businesses right now, it's hard to find and keep good employees. I'm happy with the resolution. I hope that they can find and retain better help /delivery people! *** My husband bought me a bouquet from here for our wedding anniversary. The delivery didn't make it to me on time at work before I left. He had to call them to rearrange the delivery once he realized it didn't arrive, not because they let him know they didn't deliver on time, but because he knew my workday was ending and I hadn't recieved anything yet. The flowers were eventually delivered to our home at 7pm(!). He paid over $80 for this bouquet with delivery and a "full size card" which he paid extra for and it wasn't even included! (his message was scribbled on a white folded piece of paper in with the bouquet instead). The quality of the bouquet was terrible. It was similar to one you'd get pre-wrapped from the grocery store for $20, and honestly not even that nice ... not a florist shop bouquet quality!! Some of the roses were even going brown at the edges and the leaves. A poor, cheap selection of blooms. (It was described as the "deluxe" bouquet on their invoice). There were 6 roses (definitely not fresh ones at that), the rest were dried out purple filler flowers and then some kind of wilted looking filler flowers. I have attached pictures, it actually looks better in the pictures than in person. This was a $60 "deluxe" bouquet! Plus card, plus delivery, plus driver tip ... My husband was upset and embarrassed that this was my special anniversary bouquet. He has sent me flowers many, many times and this was by far the worst quality bouquet I've EVER received. He called to complain and they were not receptive at all and didn't seem to care. I don't ever write reviews on Google but I'm so annoyed by this and hope to help someone else not waste their money, especially on a special occasion (and isn't that why most people choose a florist and pay a premium over grocery store flowers!?) I would 100% choose another floral shop!! Big zero here!
