Checked up on the reviews to see if anything had changed since our last visit to consider coming back, but after seeing how many sarcastic and defensive the responses back from the owner there is I thought I would post our experience as well from our last visit last August as although it's an older review it doesn't make it invalid: " My boyfriend and I used to go here pretty often before the pandemic started, and it was one of our favourite pubs for date night. It was always lively and lots of choices for great appetizers and a unique pub food menu with good drinks. We went back for the first time since I believe March, and brought our friend so he could experience our favourite pub, and it was very vacant and the food has changed to basically all greek. I like greek food quite a lot, but that is not what we went there for so we were caught off guard. Our waitress advised us there had been a change in ownership. The nachos were very plain and dry with only a bit of cheese, red peppers, and cucumbers (Very odd toppings for nachos in our opinions) and no sauce to dip them in. I ordered the spaghetti and it was very dry as well so I only ate the meatballs, and the pita was pretty dry and crunchy rather than soft. The prices are decent, but we did not enjoy our meals so unfortunately we wont be going back. " A tip to the owners, if you cannot take constructive criticism this will ensure people to never return. In response to what you said back to "Zia's" review, no it was not appropriate for her to say it's a place of elder alcoholics , but the fact that you stated other patrons did not think her review was appropriate makes it clear you're discussing reviews with customers. Many of your responses to reviews come off unprofessional from a business page. At this time I cannot speak to if the quality of food has changed. Hopefully we can come in and try again sometime to update our current star rating.

Clean friendly great prices daily specials great selection of beer and craft beer.Good food. Parking is no problem.I hear that the pub has been sold. Still great service. Recommend

Spacious and Clean atmosphere. Friendly server who was knowledgeable. Service was a little slow. The Fish and Chips was burnt and the dry ribs were too dry. The price for the fish and chips was good just wish it was made better. It was too busy to complain. We look forward to trying it again. Came back again and the spinach and artichoke dip was delicious and the drinks were amazing ❤️

We went to The Bennett last night for a quick bite. It was really great! My husband had the lamb chops and the lamb dinner and I had the grilled prawns. All the food was fantastic! The service was also very good. The bartender even came over to see how our drinks were. Very impressed with the food and service here! Thanks to Jared and Kaitlynn for fantastic service!

Arrived for the dinner hour and we were able to take advantage of happy hour. Service was great, food was hot and tasty. Will return.

Super fun place! Cheap drinks, nice bartender (shout out to conrod!) And awesome cover band playing tom petty tunes. Had fun dancing. It was a friday night. Someone stole my wilfred sweater tho so that was a bummer ending to a great night.

My husband and I discovered this place right after we moved to POCO and the servers the owner and staff are all so friendly and amazing the chefs are so kind they came out to meet us and everyone treated us like family! We absolutely love this place the atmosphere is just what we were missing it’s like a small town bar where the regulars feel like home. Such a cozy fun vibe! My margarita is always on point and the DJS play the best music on the weekends! We can’t wait for things to open up more so we can’t start doing karaoke and now live music events I really hope this places stays in business forever! ???

Do not go here for their burger or calamari; if the rest of the menu items are at the same standards don't order anything. This experience was not good. I read reviews before I purchased but thought I would still give it a try, to support my community. the food quality is poor, people have to be made aware. I write this review in the hopes of you improving; not to cut you down.
