First time trying belt liner for breakfast last Saturday.
The restaurant was busy, which is usually a good indication that the food / service is good.
Well, it was very misleading.
We orders the basic breakfast and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs.
For the basic breakfast, I asked for over medium eggs. When my plate came, the eggs were over easy. I mentioned this to our server, she said sorry and that she’ll bring two more eggs that will be cooked over medium.
The eggs came. Guess what? Again, they were over easy and runny like water. The chef at a breakfast diner should at the very least know how to cook an egg the way the customers ask for it. Two times , it came out wrong. Very disappointing.
As for the The avocado toast, on the menu it said that the avocado is smashed on top of toast. The dish came with sliced avocado on top of basic toast with tasteless scrambled eggs. The entire dish had no flavour what do ever. Very Disappointing.
At this point, we wished we made breakfast at home. It would have been 1000x better with actual flavour.
That’s not all… To make matters worst, the mimosa glass was dirty, as if they didn’t wash the glass with soap.
We’ll not be returning. I would Never recommend this place to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here was delicious and the service was decent. They have a couple of patios on each street and they allowed dogs on the patio which was nice. I ordered the Happy Hour fries and chicken wings which I enjoyed. I also order the Pineapple Blond Ale and I am not sure if I misunderstood but the it didn't taste like pineapple at all but did come in a nice pineapple glass. Beer was good just no pineapple flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Benedicts are very very good, but the rest of the food does no give the same level.
I wad there about 1:30 pm the places was almost full, the food came fast but the hamburgers and sandwiches seems like the rush to cook them.
The Benedicts were great really good but no to many potatoes on the side.
The service is ok but nothing special
For the price you can get better experiences in other places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very modern, very nice breakfast place. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and all the touches are present.
Latte was among the best I've had. Jam was fresh in house made. The hash browns can be upgraded to pave (layered potato roasted and cut into triangle wedges). The chicken apple sausage is made in house. They have a coffee flight sampler where you can pick three. All in house personal touches that make a place so great.
Everything was on point. I will be back for breakfast next time I'm in Calgary.
