Today The Beaver Post provides a fascinating and creative link with the past way of life. Here you will find many of the traditional goods found in trading posts of the past such as native crafts and unique items which are often as useful as they are decorative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed visiting this tourist gift shop. (I don't know why it is described here in the Google listing as an "art gallery" because it's not).
Jewelry and leather-goods that are locally made by authentic Native artisans are available. However, some of the prices are a bit on the higher side, but it is locally made and is supporting the local artisans.
The lady behind the counter (who I believe to be the owner) was quite friendly and conversational, which was nice to see after visiting a few other tourist gift shops that were far from welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best hidden gems in Northwrn ontario! There is great selection of souvenirs, crafts, clothes, and food. You cant walk out without something, if not half the store! And the owners, specifically Phyllis, and the best part of the experience. Such pure hearted people! Love it, and will be back when through next time!
