★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The road around this historic site were under construction when we were there, could only shoot some pictures from a distance. It will be a nice spot along highway 37 after road construction finished.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stop with cheap fuel and friendly service. They even have a hot food menu and a variety of snack foods, slushies and a small selection of auto supplies (i.e. washer fluid, oil, etc) the collection of totem poles is amazing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great stop! Kind of happened on it by chance because I initially didn't realize it was there. Gitanyow is a small First Nations village with amazing totem poles that line the main drag near the local gas station and convenience store. Bought some handmade jewelry from a lovely lady with a little booth near the totem poles. Definitely worth the stop to check them out, and if possible support the local economy a little bit.
