★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I must say, this beach is not particularly pleasant. I wouldn’t rush back. There is always something smelly and dead there. The kind of thing that dogs like to roll in. Maybe you could have little stroll there while your dad is waiting in the car for the ferry to come…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place to sit and watch the ferry load and unload. It is not a sandy beach. At low tide, you can poke around on the rocks. I think there were otters in the water too. There are picnic tables at the top along with washrooms. I didn't see any beach volleyball courts.
