A	Anonymous on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel exceeded our expectations. The ocean view is fabulous! The room was clean and comfortable. We were travelling with our dog and chose this hotel because it is pet friendly. A dog bed, food/water bowls and treats were provided - nice touch! We will definitely stay here again.

The Buddha bowl was good except for the marinated tofu. I’d order it without next time. The pianist played beautifully and our server was efficient and friendly. Definitely recommend and will return.

After choosing this property to stay at because I’d their amenities. Jamie the guest services manager told us a beam had fallen and that was the reason for the pool closure. At the time of checkout we were told no beam had fallen and it was indeed construction happening. The restaurant has good food but terrible service. They would not seat us next to a window to enjoy the view because we had a child and they told us the lower level seating was closed. Only to see others being seated there. The rooms had a mould smell, they are full of condensation after taking a shower. This property is not kid friendly. Would not recommend this place. There are way nicer places to stay in the same location for the same price. $200 per night.

The restaurant views are amazing .. and the food is just a delicious as any five star big city restaurant! The display of beautiful local artists throughout has the feeling of an art gallery . What a wonderful way to proudly focus on local artists. Two thumbs up! The rooms have a spa like beach retreat feel and are super comfortable. I can’t think of a negative for this sweet resort in Parksville BC and I will definitely be coming back this summer … With Friends!!

Oceanside delightful We booked here for a romantic getaway not realizing just how family friendly it is. Although the Pool doesn’t look inviting it was perfect temp. The gym is very well equipped and actually quite large.

And amazing food for dinner. Looks like some awesome renovations and new things are on the way as well. Thank you Bayside for a wonderful experience!

Service was attentive; unfortunately, a large party was seated next to us, which made our ability to visit challenging due to noise. They were not able to move us to another seat with view as they indicated they were already held for other reservations. It was my birthday celebration with a friend I hadn't seen for a long time due to pandemic. They brought a lovely chocolate cake dessert with candle compliments of the house. Food was tasty, had a halibut burger, and friend had halibut and chips. I would recommend asking for seating not close to a larger table if looking for an intimate environment.

Our room was facing the water if it was important to you remember to book that. Jack from the front desk was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was lovely food was slightly overpriced and portions were small. Restaurant has a live piano player which was very lovely and the view is stunning. Really convenient parking and they have a spa attached to the hotel which we enjoyed. We will definitely be going here again.
