β β β β β For the last few months, I have searched for a barber to trim and keep up my goatee after my regular moved away. This was becoming an impossible quest to find someone competent. I went to a few different barbers near me and received poor results at best. Others had very shabby workmanship. Today I checked out The Barbershop on Burrard and had a gentleman named Bill attend me. For the first time in a few months, I was happy with the results. He was fast and efficient in his work, pleasant and accommodating to deal with. I recommend to everyone if you are looking for a quality barber, check Bill out at The Barbershop on Burrard.

β β β β β I was running a few errands around Davie & Burrard and came across an old fashion style barbershop. I took advantage of the opportunity to get tidied up. I was served by a gentleman named Bill. He did a very fine job, very diligent in making sure he got everything right the way I liked it. This type of service is rare these days. I think what I liked the most of the experience was from the moment I walked in I felt like family. It was a rare treat to swap stories and chat about life with men that have lived life too. I will look forward to my next visit. You know this place could be the fountain of middle age.

β β β β β I like it because it's a great place to get a reasonably priced haircut where you are in and out in less than 15 to 20 minutes. The services are okay, but they do tend to push you in and out (which has its benefits, like the aforementioned speedy service noted above). If you wish to have a more personal experience with a stylist, this is not the place for you. And they predominantly only do men's haircuts, as it is simply just a Barber Shop, not a hair salon.

β β β β β Unparalleled Service!! I went to have my haircut there, only after a bad reception at the more expensive Barber, down the street.
I was welcomed in, and quickly seen. My Barber was Old School Greek, Personable, and made me happy for my decision to try them out.
I used to go Burly, but now.. I will instead be a return customer here!! Inexpensive and I highly recommend it!!

β β β β β I had a teen grandson visiting from out of town (to run in the Vancouver Marathon, yahoo!). He had a lot of errands that weekend, tightly scheduled, and one was getting a haircut if possible. The location of this barber shop fit into our Saturday well, and my online research was reassuring.
Yup, it's great! A traditional, businesslike establishment but friendly too. The barber was efficient but exacting, asked questions to be sure, did a perfect job in a short time. Great price too. The barbers seemed to be mostly older gentlemen but most of the clientele were younger guys who seemed to be regulars and the barbers definitely gave them up-to-date cuts.
