Have read a lot of negative reviews here . However my experience was quite different. I purchased a drain pump for my LG washing machine in Oct 2019 a few months later it turned our to be defective. I contacted the store and was ask to return the item . After a quick examination I was given a replacement under their 90 warranty. . This was great. Although I had to go through the hassle of doing the work all over again especially difficult as my machines are stacked. In any case I completed the task . Unfortunately only a few months later the pump failed again . There is no fault here as I know they do not make the pump but simply sell products from various suppliers . In any case I once again contacted the store told them of my dilemma but was told it there policy to only allow 1 exchange under their warranty and it had survived slightly longer than the 90 day term by about a week . This time I decided on ordering a factory original part as I did not think that their suppliers of aftermarket units were that good. I paid slightly more for the part and got it within a respectable time frame due to the current Covid circumstances. I also inquired about a refund or at least some consideration for the second detective part . I spoke to Eva and explained to her this story. Upon returning the part and their examination of it I received a full credit and an apology for my inconvenience. This was Excellent Customer service especially at this difficult time for all of us . I truly think that if everyone just had a little patience and understanding a lot of problems can be resolved. By doing this I saved at least over$400. of an service company charge to repair the same .

Don't support these RUDE ladies, they are unprofessional and inconsiderate - please go elsewhere if you can! If I could leave a zero I would. The place closes at 6 and I 100% get that. However, I called right before 6 to say I couldn't find the place and was rushing trying to find it in time. I got the rudest lady on the phone. She basically hung up on me after I told her I was leaving Ontario in 2 days and I just needed to know if they had the piece I needed so I could come back tomorrow. Anyone else with any amount of compassion would have not acted the way she had. I decided to show up 1 minute late still to see if I could find out if they had my piece. Just as I pulled up the 2 ladies were walking out the door. They proceeded to laugh in my face. I decided to look in the front window (to see if they at least had my peice in obvious view). I wish I could tell you how terribly sketchy these ladies looked and how rude and unprofessional they came across. Why would I want to give these ass' my money. Any other human being would have at least let me check the wall to see if it matched the piece I had right in my hand. I am so upset and am in such a perdicament now. If you can go somewhere else please do. I have tenants and am just trying to ensure they have proper living conditions. God. People are terrible sometimes.

Terrible customer service.I order a hi limit sensor over the phone and specifically said it was for the upper sensor in the heater box as there are two sensors. The part they order was incorrect and was not willing to take responsibility for it or accepting returns. She had attitude and was rude. There seams to be a pattern with ordering wrong parts for customers knowing they will not be able to return them. Therefore doubling sales buy customers paying twice, this time for the correct part. It seams as thou i am not the first negative review with the same issues and probably won't be the last.

When suspecting we needed a new element for our oven, my wife and I decided to support local and try the appliance shack in Barrie. We called and spoke with a woman regarding replacing our existing element, and promptly ordered one. We eagerly awaited our new element in the mail. It was much to our regret that she didn't inform us that there are actually two elements in the oven, the broil (up top) and the bake (at the bottom), and the that the bake element is often internal and not visible without some disassembly (one would hope that they, the experts, would have helped us, the customer, clarify this before finalizing our order). We had ordered the wrong element. "Oh well", we thought. "We'll just call them and sort our this miscommunication". However, the store refused to take any ownership for the mistake and swiftly informed us that WE had ordered the wrong part. The would not accept a return nor were they cooperative with coming up with any solutions to the issue. Not only did we waste $70 on a part and shipping, now we have a perfectly good bake element that has nowhere to call a home. Next time, we will use Amazon for our appliance parts needs.

I am VERY disappointed with the experience I had from the Barrie location. The lady I was dealing with was extremely rude. I was supposed to receive a phone call from the owner (as they promised) but I received a call from an associate that works from the Newmarket location. I was told the owner was out of the country and they will not be calling me back (she also giggled while she said it) - horrible customer service and unfortunalety me trying to buy local might change my mind!

We deal with the Appliance Shack on a fairly regular basis. The service is always spectacular and the ladies behind the counter are a pleasure to deal with. We regularly refer customers to them.

First of all, thank you for having the igniter I needed in stock. I got my oven fixed in no time. I did pay a little more than was hoping to but what can you do. I was trying to argue the fact that I have a part specific number in my hand but the nice lady at the counter and on the phone was trying to say that in order to find a part I'd need the appliance serial number or model number (Which btw if you have a Samsung Oven is behind the drawer, finally found it). I gave her the igniter's part number and she found it instantly. I have worked in sourcing parts for computers before, I know kind of the same numbers you might need.
