★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The apple bin always has at least a couple of varieties of apples as well as a few other items. Not sure I would recommend the pears as they are really green and I did not have any luck getting them to ripen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small metal sea container along Eastside Road, beside the mailboxes pullout, so it's convenient to park. Purchase on the honour system - there is large apple bin or two inside, beside a small portable scale. Choose the type and amount of apples you'd like, weigh them, and slip the amount of money you owe in the small wooden box beside the scale. They'll have a price per pound notice on the wall, so you don't have to guess too much. Once outside, slide the large glass patio door closed, and the transaction is complete. That's all there is to that. Great idea, and I've not been disappointed by the quality of the fruit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stellar little set up. Convenient location with ample parking space. Quick in-and-out process, simply 1) pick what you want 2) weigh it 3) leave cash in the green box and off you go!!
What a friendly bunch of people who run this joint. Just stopped in this evening and was given a run down of the operation.
Support local all the way!!! And cheaper than any supermarket!!!
